Chapter 33
Despite my protest, Papi insisted we drive together. I think she might have been afraid I would not show up, but I was really looking forward to the night out. She was something else to work with in the hospital but her machismo rose to an entirely different level once we were out of the conservative structure of the hospital. Her father and uncle owned a limo company and she picked me up in a Hummer stretch limo at my condo. She stood at the door, dressed in white jacket covering black wife-beater tank shirt and sporting a Fedora hat which was coordinated with the outfit. Although the driver and doorman was there to open the door, she felt it was her duty to open the door for me. She did allow the doorman to close the door behind us once she climbed in. I had driven in many limos in my life time but this was my first time in a Hummer limo. It was as cheesy as one would imagine such a thing to be. There were flat-panel screens to allow play of whatever video you might select from the onboard library, a small refrigerator with various drinks, alcoholic and otherwise. The seats and interior walls were covered with an eclectic mix of animal prints, velvet and leather. The feel of the limo was as if I had stepped into a moving night club, and I suppose with its seating for 25, it was. She got her uncle to loan her his top on the line limo for the evening. I supposed she felt she needed to impress me with something extravagant and outrageous. Papi ran through the features of the limo as we made our way to the restaurant. Apparently, to earn money during college and when she was home on breaks from medical school, she worked for her family driving the cars. She unashamedly told me stories on how she, on occasion, might earn extra tips, to the apparent great pleasure of her female passengers. Yes, the legend of Papi was apparently quite true and somewhat amazing, if you were prone to believe it. It was certainly clear, Papi enjoyed “loving the ladies” and it seemed the ladies in turn, loved being loved by Papi.

oh Squirl i have soooooo missed this story – really glad you’re posting again! i’m always rooting for Tibette but you’re stories seem to get me craving belena…never thought it possible!!! Im with the others as well, we love a jealous Bette, surely she’s gonna have to do something about all these women vying for Helenas attention, pps!
Niiiice! And she’s back in the saddle! Indeed, we have truly missed this story and look forward to where you take it and our lovely Helena. You know we are all thinking Belena but there is so much great potential for lots of drama as things continue to develop so we will just buckle up and enjoy the ride. Again, welcome back! Well, what can I say, except so glad you posted again. What will Bette think or have to say to Helena about Mel, because you know how hospitals are, before Helena gets back to work everyone will know about Papi’s date night with her and Mel.
Thanks bombasticbully on the heads up that it was posted twice. I normallly read through it when I post but I was so exhausted last night and I just wanted to get it out. I did fix the duplication. I should have suspected something was up when I noticed it was 13 pages long. I didn’t think I had written that much.
I am so happy you are back! Just last week I was thinking about this story last week and wondering if you would finish it. I love the new character and the complications it brings. I also love the offhand references to Tina, who is (at least so far) merely a background character. I have absolutely no idea where you are going with this. I am looking forward to the ride. .

Great update Squirl! Loved it. Helena has so many beautiful women to choose from, but I’m hoping Bette will come around in a jealous fashion and fight for her. PPS!!
Sounds like the evening has provided a little something to fuel Bette’s jealousy. That might be a good thing.
