Bette and Tina had been dating for last 2 months and it had been the most amazing two months, either of them could remember. They had spent a lot of quality time together getting to know each other and they certainly couldnt keep their hands off each other.

Bette had never felt this way about anyone before and for the first time in her life she saw a future with someone in it to love.

It was time for the l word. Bette thought. She had never said it to anyone and meant it before. Tina made Bette feel as though, now after 28 years her life was finally complete.
She didnt have to pretend around Tina, she could be herself and Tina wanted her just the way she was.
Tina had the ability to make the whole world disappear, and every time Bette looked into Tinas eyes, her heart still skipped a beat.

Tina arrived at Bettes house just after 10 oclock and knocked on the door. She practically jumped Bette as soon as she opened the door.

Bette felt like her heart was going to burst through her chest.

Bette: (with a huge grin) Tina are you sure about this?

Tina, still wrapped in Bettes arms, looking out at the ocean, broke the silence, Babe, next week I am going on a trip. Im going to San Francisco to see my parents. I want to tell them about youabout us. I dont want to hide our relationship from them anymore. *****..I want the whole world to know that I love you. I just dont know how theyll take it.

Bette knew this was a big step for Tina. She knew that was one thing they certainly had in common. They both tried desperately to seek approval from their parents. Bette was elated that Tina was ready to do this now.

Bette: Tee, baby, I can come with you, if you want?

Tina: No babe, its something I have to do!

Bette: Ok but from now on we go through everything together Ok, because together, Tee, we can definitely get through anything!!

Tina turned around to kiss Bette: I agree babe. I love you so much Ms Porter.
