Sarah arrived at the Planet a short time later, about hour early. She ordered a triple shot, grabbed it and went and sat at a table in the back, nervously waiting to tell the only woman she had ever loved that she didnt want to see her anymore

Sarah sat at the Planet, lost in her own thoughts.that one kiss, that one moment and her life was now headed down a completely different track. She was becoming more and more anxious the longer she sat there without Shane. She decided to call Tina for a little sisterly advice.

Tinas phone went straight to the answering machine. Damn Sarah thought!

Sarah left a simple message hoping Tina would call her back soon, hopefully before Shane turned up, Gday Tina, please give me a call when you can. Its kind of importantThanks.

Shane arrived at the Planet a few minutes later still smiling. She was nervous about revealing her newfound feelings to Sarah and did want to tell her, but this was a big deal for Shane, she wanted it to be in the right setting at the right time. It had to be special!!

Just knowing she felt that way though, after all these years; she had actually fallen in love.. well Shane couldnt wipe away the huge smile that graced her lips.

Shane immediately spotted Sarah sitting at a table in the back and waved. Sarah politely waved back.

Shane ordered her shot and approached Sarah eagerly.

Shane: Hey sweetie! She went over to give Sarah a kiss, but all she was offered was her cheek. Ouch!!Ok somethings not right here Shane thought to herself, her smile beginning to fade.

Sarah: (void of emotion) Sit down Shane, I need to speak to you.

Shane s heartbeat was rapidly rising; she sat nervously, Whats going on babe?

Looking at Shane, sitting right there in front of her, with such an endearing look on her face, Sarah wasnt sure if she could actually go through with this

She thought she would give Shane a chance to be honest and tell her first; maybe it was just a misunderstanding?? Daring to hope that may be so.

Sarah: (casually) So Shane, what were you up to today?

Shane: (mildly confused at Sarah change of attitude? nonchalantly) Not much babeI finished Danas renovationsshowed her the changesheard from you (smiling broadly at Sarah) and here I am, (taking Sarahs hand)..Youre kind of freaking me out, whats going on babe?

Thats it! Shane didnt tell me, not that I expected her to, I just hoped Sarah thought dejectedly, her mind plagued momentarily with the thought that Shane maybe wanted to see both her and Dana.

Taking her hand out of Shanes (abruptly) Im sorry Shane, but Im going home on Friday, back to Australia, and I dont think we should see each other anymore.

Shane looked directly into Sarahs eyes, WHAT? Why Sarah. Are you ok? Please tell me what the ***** is going on here?

Sarah: (calmly) I just dont think were right for each other better to find out now I guess. Sarah demeanor was stone cold on the outside, thats the only way she knew to keep from completely loosing it. Inside her heart was slowly breaking

Shane wanted to ask Sarah so many questions and tell her so many things, even profess her love, if it meant she would stay, but when Shane looked at Sarah, deep within her eyes, the spark she usually had was missing. Shane got the feeling that Sarah didnt really give a damn anymore.

Shanes stubbornness kicked in, and she got up, ok cool, well Ill see you around Sarah. She walked straight out the door, not looking back





It had become late in the afternoon

Tina and Bette were lying in bed, their bodies intertwined with each others; they were totally spent, basking in the after glow of their hours of lovemaking

Tina was lying with her head on Bettes tummy, while Bette was stroking her fingers through Tinas golden locks, thinking how lucky she was to have Tina, for them to have found each other.

Tina looked up at Bette and smiled, Hey Babe.

Bette: Hey Tee!

Tina: I was thinking, how about we call the girls and invite them out to Milk on Friday night. Make sure Kit is there toothe whole gang?!

Tina continued, (excitedly) Im so happy that I will probably internally combust if I dont tell someone, (playing with her ring around her neck), but how about we leave our announcement as a surprise, till Friday night, make it likean informal engagement party? What do you think babe?

Bette bought Tina up to her and hugged her tightly, Sounds like a plan to me baby!!. (cheekily) Does that mean I have you all to myself till then?

Tina pretended to think about it, (playfully) HmmmMs Porter you can have me all to yourself forever..thats if, that is what you want??!!

Bette: I definitely couldnt think of anything more I would possibly want!

The two lovers gazed into each others eyes feeling the familiar stirrings of desire in the pit of their stomachs.

Just as Bette got the look in her eye and was preparing to devour Tinas body, Tinas tummy let out a loud grumble.

Tina: (grinning) Sorry babe? I guess Im hungry? (seeing the devilish look in Bettes eyes, laughing) for food babe.(sexily) I will eat you all up later.

Bette: (pretending to pout) Promise baby?

Tina: (smiling suggestively)Yes babe, I promiseright now though, Ill whip us up some food, to get us through the night. winking at Bette

Tina: (thinking) And Ill ring the girl about Friday night too!!

Bette: (gazing at Tina lovingly) Sure Tee. You want some help. The sooner youre done the sooner we can get to the through the night bit!!!

Tina: No babe you just relaxI plan on taking really good care of my future wife

Bette: Wow I like the sound of that!!!

Tina: Me too!!

Tina quickly kissed Bettes lips and jumped out of bed throwing on her robe, walking out to the lounge room. She grabbed the phone to call the girls first. She was so excited about their news and couldnt wait to make sure the whole gang could come to their little informal engagement party on Friday night.

Tina picked up the receiver and noticed the message light blinkingshe didnt remember hearing the phone ring. Too preoccupied, she thought smiling to herself!

Tina played the message. It was Sarahs message she had left earlier.

Tina could tell Sarahs voice sounded distressed. Worriedly she rang Sarahs cell. Just as she dialed the number, there was a knock on the door

Tina put the phone down and went to answer it.

When she opened the front door there stood Shane, visibly upset. Tina had never seen Shane upset before, ever!!!!

Tina pulled Shane in for a warm hug, ushering her inside and over to the couch, God, Shane is everything ok? Is Sarah ok? What is it sweetie?.

Shane was determined not to let the welling tears fall, but she was so upset her whole body was lightly shaking.

Tina sat next to Shane and rubbed her back in comfort, Hey Shane, Tell me? What is it?

Shane: (despondently) Tina, did you know that Sarah was going back home?

Tina: (confused) No, when did she tell you this?

Shane: Today at the PlanetEverything was cool, we were cool, I thought. Then she drops this bomb on me, and said she cant see me anymore!!

Tina: Shane, Im sure theres a reason why shes going if she is?

Shane: Well she wouldnt tell me. Shane lowered her head, You know what the thing is Tina(she looked into Tinas eyes) I love SarahIve never loved anyone but I love herI dont want her to go!

Tina: Have you told her that?

Shane: No, I only realized today after Dana asked me, and I wasnt going to tell her when it was obvious that she didnt feel the same!!

Tina: Shane let me talk to SarahIll find out whats going on ok. I know she thinks you two have something special?

Shane: (hopefully) Really, she said that! (Tina nodded) Well not anymore it looks like!

Tina: Shane, dont do anything silly, that youll regret!!. There has to be a reason for this behavior. This is so unlike Sarah.

Shane: (sincerely) I know. (looking at her watch) Anyway I got to fly. Sorry for the interruption Tina..I didnt know who else to talk to about this.

Tina: Anytime sweetie, Ill get to the bottom of this. dont worry! Tina got up and gave Shane a hug, Ill talk to you soon Shane Ok!

Bette walked out of the bedroom just as Shane was heading out the door, wandering into the lounge room, surprised to see the back of Shane exiting as Tina closed the front door.

Bette: Was that Shane baby? Is everything ok? What was she doing here? I didnt know we had a visitor. I thought you were talking on the phone?

Bette walked over and pulled Tina into her in a loving embrace, whispering in her ear, Lucky I didnt walk out here naked baby. I was going to, to try and tempt you wiggling her eyebrows, Shane wouldve got more than she bargained for.

Tina looked into Bettes eyes, (sexily) You dont need to tempt me babeI want you all the time as it is! bringing her lips to Bettes for a quick kiss before breaking away and heading for the kitchen.

Bette followed, (becoming serious for a moment) So whats up with Shane?

Tina: Its a long story babe but I think the two love birds are going to need a little shove in the right directionyou up for it?

Bette: Sure Tee, what have you got in mind?

Tina: I just got to talk to Sarah and Ill let you know babe!

Tina rang Sarah and arranged for her to swing by the house as soon as she could!

Sarah was upset too and really need to talk to Tina, so she headed straight over.


Tina got off the phone and wanted to prepare something to eatShe was a bit disabled currently in that area, with her injured hand and all, so decided she would just make up some ham and salad rolls. thatd tide her and Bette over till morning.

Tina was preparing their snack in the kitchen, when Bette enveloped Tina in a warm hug from behind, placing her head on Tinas shoulder, just watching Tina at work!!

Bette: I love you Tee!

Tina: (turned her head to look into Bettes eyes) I love you too Babe.

Bette started to pull gently at the tie on Tinas robe, loosening it to expose the skin on Tinas neck. Bette began to gently suck Tinas smooth neck, eliciting a moan from Tina. Ooohhhh Bbbbbbaaabbee?? running her hands lightly over Tinas taut stomach.

Tina: (huskily) Babe, Sarahs due soon and I dont want to start something we cant finish! as if on cue Tinas stomach groaned again. Tina turned around, pulled Bette into her and gave her a passion filled kiss, (cheekily) a taste of things to come babe!.Come on lets eat!

Bette and Tina sat down at the kitchen table, sharing smoldering glances at each other the entire time.

Tina was becoming extremely aroused and needed to commence some sort of conversation with Bette, or else she was going to jump her right then and there.

Think Kennard, think!!! she quietly said to herself.

Then a thought came to her. She had wanted to know Bettes thoughts on this particular subject since Bette had asked Tina to marry her, but she was a bit nervous asking. This was one area Tina knew nothing about Bette, they had never really had any reason before to discuss it, but now that they were getting married, Tina really wanted to know.

Bette saw the nervousness engulf Tinas eyes, Bette, can I talk to you about something, babe?

Tina instantly had all of Bettes attention; Sure babyyou can talk to me anytime, about anything.

Tina had one lingering doubt since Bette had asked her to marry her and thought if she didnt bring this conversation up now, she would loose her chance, and Tina really wanted to know Bettes opinion!!

Tina: (apprehensively) So now that were going to get married babe (smiling). does that mean theres a possibility of a family in our future? I mean, is that something you may want one day? No pressure or anything babe, I was just wondering? What are your thoughts on the subject? Tina was rambling on nervously.

Bette was so glad that she had overheard Tina and Sarahs conversation a while back. She had already thought the subject through, thinking back to when Tina held little Chrissie in the hospitalBette knew Tina would be a great mum and if Tina wanted kids, Bette wouldnt deny her. Bette knew it way back then, she just wasnt ready to admit it back then.

But now Bette was readyready to admit it.

Bette looked lovingly into Tinas eyes taking her hand, Tee, I love you more than I ever dreamed I could love anyone.. I never even thought about having a family until I met you. honestly I was never interested in having a child, the though never really entered my mindThat being said though, Since I did meet you, (grinning) I have rethought the whole thing and I would love to one day share the love we have with a family of our own you and me, together baby!!!…So yes I would love to have a family with you I couldnt think of anything more wonderful!! Not for a while though baby..I want to enjoy just us first!

Tina: (a huge smile lit up her whole face) Really babe. Yeah of course, Im talking in years to come were way too young, yet..(cheekily) well I am anyway.

Bette playfully swatted Tina on the armpretending to pout, Hey Im not that old!!!

Tina laughed, getting up and going over, sitting on Bettes lap. Putting her arm around Bettes neck, caressing her spine, Thank you babe.

Bette: (getting lost in Tinas touch) MmmWhat for Tee?

Tina: Obviously you have thought the whole family subject through. Thank you for caring enough to do that for me!

Bette looked into Tinas eyes and knowingly smiled, pulling again at the tie on Tinas robe, causing the robe to loosely open at the front, exposing Tinas perfectly round *****. Bette leaned in and took one of Tinas nipples in her mouthcaressing it with her tongue, feeling it harden under her touch.

Tina put her head back and moaned, Mmmmm.Babe!

Then there was a knock on the doorDamn both women laughed, frustratingly

Tina stood up and retied her robe, giving Bette a quick tender kiss, Thatd be Sarah babe(smiling seductively) Why dont you go and wait for mein bed; Ill be there as soon as I can Bette smiled and wandered back to the bedroom.

Tina: (playfully) Hey Babe, (Bette turned around) dont start without me! Bette winked and was gone.

Tina opened the door, and for the second time that day, a visibly distressed loved one was standing in front of her. Tina gave Sarah a big hug and grabbed her arm pulling her inside.

Sarah dejectedly sat down on the sofa. Tina sat next to her and wrapped her arm around Sarahs shoulder.

Tina: (compassionately) Ok siswhats this I hear your heading back home?

Sarah raises her head, (initially confused) How do you(realizing) Oh. Youve spoken to Shane? dropping her head again.

Tina: (trying to be supportive) Yeah, she came by and was upset. So tell me whats going on sis. You were just telling me the other day you were in love, now all of a sudden your leaving? I dont want you to leave!

Sarah: (gently crying) Its all fucked up Tina, I saw Shane kissing Dana.

Tina: (slightly confused) What? That doesnt sound right. Where? Was it Shane who kissed Dana or Dana that kissed Shane?

Sarah: (sternly) I dont know Tina. but from where I stood they both seemed into it

Tina: And what did Shane say about it?

Sarah: (teary eyed) I didnt ask her, I tried to get her to tell me but she didnt, so I ended it!!I am not going to be made a fool of Tina!!!

Tina: (comforting) No of course not sweetie. Listen just answer one question for me ok (looking at Sarah, Sarah just nodded) do you love Shane?

Sarah: (sadly) Yeah. I really do!

Tina: Ok listen sis (looking towards the bedroom) I have something I really need to do right now. Leave it with me. When are you planning on leaving?

Sarah: (disheartened) Yeah I got to go too. Friday afternoon Im leaving. I really dont want to. I love it here, but it will be too hard, I just need to go home for a while and then Ill see!!! Sarah got up and was walking towards the front door.

Tina thought to herself, ok we have until Friday.

Tina got up and made her way over to let Sarah out, Listen sis. Just let me talk to Shane ok and Ill talk to you soon. Take Care of yourself and if you need anything call me!! giving Sarah a comforting hug.

Sarah: Thanks Tina. See ya.

After Sarah left, Tina walked back into the bedroom and observed Bette lying on the bed naked, patiently waiting. She had almost drifted off to sleep. Tina quickly approached the bed letting her robe fall to the floor on the way, and gently lay her body on top of her lovers. Bette was now wide-awake.

Tina: Yep babe those two are definitely going to need the B & T touch(smiling seductively) But right now all I want (taking Bettes hand, smiling wickedly) is your touch
