Tina was not in the least surprised to see Alice on the set shortly before noon the following day.
“Good work folks” the director called out. “Lunch break be back on set at 1:30.”
“Hey Al” Tina kissed her cheek as she greeted her.
Alice glowered. “Why must I chase you to get the dirt these days? How is it that I wasn’t the first to know the news?”
“So you could tell everyone before we did? Like last time?” Tina chided her. She still regretted how much that had hurt Bette at the time.
“I’ve grown since then” Alice muttered. “This marriage thing is great and all”…she hesitated. “But I miss you TK…P”.
“I’m right here Al” Tina said with surprise. Alice hardly ever spoke of her real feelings despite her obnoxious banter most of the time.
“No you’re not. You and Bette are so tight I am about to call for another intervention.”
“You wouldn’t!” She stared at Alice.
“I tried but Kit and Shane refused to go along.” Alice said with frustration not meeting the hazel eyes.
“As crazy as you are I still love you Al.” Tina laughed and shook her head imagining Alice getting shot down by Kit and Shane.
“So…?” She brightened.
“What do you want to know?” Tina asked carefully, remembering the night she and Bette found out they were pregnant….
It was three weeks ago…
Tina grabbed her briefcase and blackberry and threw on her jacket. It had been a long but productive day. She was looking forward to the evening with her family. Angelica was to perform for the first time in public in her school play. It was hard to believe that the time had sped by so quickly. She would soon be eleven. Rowan likewise seemed to be growing by leaps and bounds; he was crawling and was beginning to try to stand.
When she exited the studio she was surprised to see the Bentley parked at the curb. Denise, dressed in the traditional dark suit and cap, quickly came around and opened the door for her.
“Ms. Tina.” Denise greeted her as she approached the car.
“Is everything ok?” Her anxiety rose, she was supposed to meet Bette at the school.

K this was a great chapter explaing to Al how they found out that Bette was pregnant!!
Oh heck yeah, Angelica’s a smart cookie, sharper than her EM by a long shot. “Roey” is too cute… and Head Master Whitley seems a bit of a … I dunno. I just don’t like him. Why did they reject their application all those years ago? Not enough $$ in the Porter-Kennard coffers at the time? Shallow school, their children deserve better. Anyhow, more please! Thanks for the chapter, kelika.

This was a sweet chapter, except for the creepy Whitley. Thanks for including Denise.
So Angie figured it out first huh, pretty smart for an almost 11 year old.
So we end with Tina telling the insatiably curious Alice, “That’s private.” Will that satisfy Alice or will she pester Tina until she hears every last detail?

Loved it K!! I loved the sibling interaction, very cute and adorable!:) Didn’t like that Whitley person,did I miss something there? I hope they don’t have to deal with people like him.
