    Foresight – Chapter 1

    Foresight – Chapter 1

    Main Entry: foresight
    Pronunciation:
    fawr-sahyt

    Function: noun

Meaning:  Knowledge or insight gained by looking forward; a view of the future.

“It’s not foresight or hindsight we need. We need sight, plain and simple. We need sight to see what is right in front of us.”

I felt a combination of feelings, and they all amounted to, or boiled down to two feelings, and it was foreign and familiarity…

I stood at the window in what was once again…; ‘our’… bedroom and I couldn’t help the mixture of emotions.

The garden was something I had missed, just being able to stand and glance at our garden…, but as I stand here and am once again able to look out at the place where we spent so many hours of our life together, it had a strange sense of not quiet feeling right, but I am sure that would come, after all…, I had only just spent my first night back in this house…

I look back at the bed…, she was still sleeping…, she had been…, god, she had been so…, loving and understanding…, gentle and so compassionate…, she just knew…

She had known what I had needed, what I had craved from her…

Yesterday was such an emotional day, but the emotions were under the surface, under the pure joy of knowing we were making another go of it…, being together and being a family…

Then she took my hand and asked me how I felt about the appointment…, I knew she had to of had an opinion about the situation, she couldn’t be holding my hand while Dr Wilson was examining me…, running that ultrasound over my stomach…, watching for if and when that little humdrum image would appear on the screen, I knew she was looking hard at the screen, and trying hard not to give that sigh of relief when Dr Wilson explained what had happened…

And what was it she had said, I had to think hard about her words, blighted ovum…, I remember shaking my head, trying to fathom what her words meant, but she explained…, it never would have developed into a pregnancy, and whether the induced fall had caused the pain or that the natural process had already begun is something we would never know…, the fact of the matter was that there wasn’t an embryo inside the sac…, there was no heartbeat to look for on the screen…, there was no baby…

    1. Jo… what can I say…. you’ve been missed! I’m so happy you decided to continue this story cause it is the best. I hope you’ve had a great vacation and that you come back to us with your head filled with new stories. This chapter was…. quiet… serene…. beautiful… Your versions of TiBette are always enlightening. I always learn new things when you take me through the ups and downs of our favorite couple. Thank you for that.

    2. OMG, thankyou for more of this…glad to see your all rested up and ready for more…cause we are. Doesn’t everyone get a cold after they get back from holidays…it always seems in the next while that plane air sucks the life out of you…rest up.

    3. Amazing Jo… Ive been waiting for this! Im so glad you felt good enough to write but I hope that means you are feeling better in general… Thank you for being you also! PPS!

    4. hey there– great to have you back. i hope you feel better soon — nothing worse than feeling rubbish – i see three weeks away have done nothing to dampen your JB levis fetish — which is great — everyone needs a hobby = SOOO many people have missed you. i’ve just sneezed six times- if you sent your bugs to me i will NOT be happy/

    5. What a pleasure to read your stories. Welcome back and feel better b/c after tomorrow night’s finale we TiBetters are going to need some serious TLC from the writers on this site. Why can’t IC take a lesson from you in telling a passionate, loving, erotic, caring story about B & T. Your stories deal with the mundane but never in a mundane manner. Most of us live a “regular” life and appreciate reading about that life expressed in an extraordinary way. IC doesn’t realize or doesn’t care that we don’t need ridiculous drama w/TiBette. They are dramatic enough as a couple. Look at the great response ally got for her 2 part “TiBette return to each other story”. IC just doesn’t get it. I hope she does in time for next year.

    6. Welcome back, Jo. This chapter is you. It shows your true writing and is more of a closure than a new beginning. As a new beginning, is a promising one and we all long for its development. Thanks for posting today even not feeling very good.

    7. Welcome back to the sight and I know you are glad to be home, vacations are great but home is HOME. Hope you had a wonderful time in our country and hope you feel better soon. This post was wonderful as always. Your insight into the inner workings of the minds of B&T are just unbelievable. You write them so spot on. Too bad IC does not have the balls to hire you, having you on the writing staff would be AWESOME. Everything you write is so believable. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. Waiting for more of this wonderful story.

    8. please continue with this story… Hindsight was one of my favorite stories on the site and i can’t wait to see where you take our 2 ladies this time.x.x.

    9. Welcome back, Jo. I’ve added a new immune system vitamin since Ally was feeling like crap, so here we go: Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and zinc. With food or maybe a glass of milk to buffer the stomach. Sounds like Bette could stand a pair of suspenders until Tina fattens her up some. American, over-the-shoulder suspenders, not the British, waist-level variety. Or maybe they should just stay in bed, forget about clothes all together and simply put on a robe to retrieve the food deliveries for a week or so. An American robe, not the French kind. Kit and Angelica need some bonding time don’t they?

    10. Welcome back from your vacation. I hope that you enjoyed your time away from the real world. I am happy that you have come back with new ideas. This story or chapter was what I needed to read. I will always love Bette and Tina together then add little Angelica you have the perfect little family just like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a banana to go with it.

    11. JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I’m so glad you are back! You are the most amazing author and your thing with Bette in levis, is so frickin funny. Whatever this is, a sequel or epi it is gonna rock.

    12. JO! YOU’RE BACK! Ok, whew, I’m ok now… :) Anyway, pot, this is great, of course, not that I really thought I’d find anything less than amazing from you. There’ll be more soon, riiiiiight? :D (that was my most charming smile, in case you couldn’t tell) xKettle
