“Oh my God Child did you not keep anything for yourself?”
Kit says as she is shaking her head.
“You really are a hopeless romantic.
So which version is the one you where thinking of ‘My Love For Tina’ or
any of those other combinations?” Kit says as now she’s a little exasperated at
Bette for giving everything away.
“What how did you .” Bette
says barely above a whisper.
Now Kit knows it’s all true.
The look of disbelief in Bette’s eyes told her that Bette never thought
that would come to light. “Oh honey ”
Kit starts to get out but stops as now she sees all the past pain and despair
in Bette’s eyes.
They had finally reached MOCA and Kit pulled up to Tina’s
car before Bette spoke again “Kit did you figure this out because you know of
the money?” Bette says as she now needs to know.
“No honey that not something I ever would have put
together.
“WHAT ALICE!”
Chapter 91 – When Your Life
Jacket gets a Hole
Tina was reviewing her schedule for the next few weeks. She had a trip to
about it the more she didn’t want to be away from home for any reason. The experience with
thought of being away from Anna and Bette even for the night was more than Tina
wanted to contemplate right now.
This motivated Tina to pick up the phone and move her
appointment till later in the morning.
Initially it had been set up with the idea that Tina would drive down
the night before, stay in a hotel and then have the appointment in the early
morning which would then free up her afternoon for the drive home. As Tina was calculating it if she left really
early she could just drive down in the morning have the appointment and then drive
back in the evening. That way she would
be home both nights.
Tina had just finished moving her appointment when Jackie
poked her head in. “Hey are you doing
lunch today? I’m free now and if you’re
interested I thought we could grab a salad at that deli you like.”
“I would love to as a matter of fact I was just about ready
to come looking for you. I would like
your opinion on something I was reviewing this morning. It’s not MYV related but it’s interesting
none the less.” Tina says as she pulls open her desk drawer and grabs the
purse.

I hope Helena is in New York during the end of August coz I’ll be ready to step on her head!
what can I say? I enjoy how you develop a story, and I can’t wait to see what you have in mind for Helena. I actually didn’t mind her until her pregnancy fetish became so obvious, but the way you’ve painted her character makes me very unsympathetic to her. Look forward to more as usual.

It’s very nice to you to ask about my story. I’m almost finished with a chapter and hope to post it soon. I marvel at how fast you write and how well. Only in my dreams!
How endearing is it that Tina moved her appointment so that she wouldn’t be away from home overnight? So sweet. The depth of their reconnection is growing.
Tina knows she has evidence. She knows that she could go after Helena. But, she was smart enough to seek counsel from a friend, if for no other reason to make sure two pairs of eyes saw the same thing. Corroboration is a great ally. I’m not sure Helena shouldn’t be just as afraid of Jackie as Tina or Bette. Jackie’s circle is expansive and she seems exceptionally loyal to those that she admires. I imagine some of those people are on that spreadsheet.
Now, will Tina really do something with all of that once Jackie has made some calls? Could be that Tina may just sit on this and launch a major attack at a later date when it may really matter. Then again, those were pretty nasty pictures that Helena exhibited.
Helena is like a virus – she’s nasty, irritating, doesn’t go away easily…but she can be struck down.
LOL. James should be thankful that Bette only game him ‘the wave’ and not ‘the finger’ given her mood! I want a James. He’s sweet, dedicated and hardworking…where can I get one?
The metamorphosis of Bette is a wonderful thing to see. I liked that she’s still holding her her leaving early promise.
Sad that Bette felt deflated by Alice’s investigation. But that seems so real to me. In the end, we all just want to know that we did the best we could, whether or not that effort is visible. For people like Bette that needed it to keep from imploding from guilt or to mend a broken heart, it’s tough to see that safety net slip away. She did it for truly altruistic reasons, with nothing expected in return. But if something should be returned, you don’t want it to be a effort tainted by other’s gossip.
Bette may have changed, but even the best of them fall off of the wagon every now and then. Alice had better watch out.
The fact that you can keep everything so fresh, even when it’s retold – as in Tina to Jackie, is amazing. The plot thickens and everyone is suspect as the one that could take Helena or Alice out. Figuratively, of course. Nicely done, yet again!
Love this Tina is trying to protect her family at all cost. This was awssome Waiting for payback time for Helena. Tina is pretty piss Now how will Bette stop Alice can anyone stop her mouth, Post soon

UUUUUUUUUUUUhh Jwet NICE.very NICE. That move with Jackie helping out Tina in her persuit of Helena’s bad dealings, is just priceless–SUPERB my dear (or should I use Helena’s Darling–ha, ha).
I think that B&T should have a heart to heart and Bette should let Tina know how much keeping her actions private means to her. Alice needs to be tanking her lucky stars for the new maturing Bette, other wise she would be in Intensive Care already. As it is Bette may just cut her off. Please post again soon. After such a bad day, I think that Bette needs some T time, maybe a game of T ball (ha,ha,ha).
I need to lock myself in a cupboard for a month & then come out & read what you’ve written – even then It wouldn’t satisfy – not that I don’t enjoy your writing – I just always am left wanting MORE MORE MORE!

I’m kind of surprise that Bette had such a bad day just because Alice figured the foundation out. She should be glad that she has such a smart and caring (though very nosy) friend. She is looking out for them. She gave them the “helena” file.
