“So, where is the little one? I`m dying to see him!” Alice said and made her cute-face. In the second she asked, the doorbell rang. “I`ll get it!” Shane yelled across the room. Shane returned with Alan beside her. He held a little baby boy in his arms. The boy had dark coloured skin and big brown eyes that stared stright into Alices eyes. Alices heart melted completely. “This is Oscar. Our son” Shane said proudly, and liftet the baby up from Alans arms to hers. Dana and Alice where speechles. Was this Shane? They coulden`t belive what they saw. Helen came over to her. She kissed Shanes lips softly, and stroke her fingers trough her hair. “Oscar is almost 11 months old. His growing up to be a little stud” Helen looked up at Shane. “Just like his father ” she joked and giggeled proud. “Father?” Alice grinned and got up from the couch. “So what do you think?” Shane asked expectant. “He is so adorable I could eat him up!” Alice said. Dana walked over and played with Oscars small fingers. “Hi Oscar. I`m Dana. Yes I am. I`m aunt Dana….dodododo…” Alice and Shane looked at each other and grinned. “Am I in a 7th heaven episode or what?” Alice joked. Dana jumped when Oscar suddanly throwed up a little. “Oh I`m sorrry!” Dana said nerveous, looking a little freaked out. She wasen`t used to babies, no matter how much she wanted to think she was, she had no experience with kids. “Dana, don`t worry. It happends all the time” Shane said to relax her, but it didden`t help. Dana ran into the bathroom. She quickly returned with a towel, and as she carefully cleaned around Oscars mouth, Shanes eyes became focused on Danas ring finger. “*****.You two are engaged!” She yelled out. “Helen their engaged!” Shane and Helen looked totally surprised. “Congratulations!” Alan said from the coutch, sipping on the hot cofee.
“Why didden`t you tell us?” Shane asked and smiled widely. Dana sendt Alice a romantic expression and then gazed down at the ring on her finger. “Well, we didden`t wanted to focus on us, you know. Draw all the attention”. “Well, this isen`t what I`ve thought was gonna happend in the future” Shane laughed and rolled her eyes in a grin. “We are so happy for you”. ” Same to you guys.” Alice said, as her eyes got wet again. Shane pinched her in the arm like she always did in the old days. “After the adoption we were so busy, we didden`t got the time to visit you in Spain. Sorry about that” Helen said as she served them cofee for the second time. “Nono, that`s ok. We are just sorry we weren`t here when you got Oscar. How`s Bette and Tina?” Alice asked. “Oh, they are doing fine. Amy is turning 3 years this monday, and we agreed to celebrate it at our place. Oscar is turning 1 next month so we thought we could celebate a little earlier.Together. You are joining us? Jenny and Marina is coming over too.” Shane said while she searched for baby food in kitchen. “Absolutely. We`d missed you all so much” Dana said while she grabbed Alices waist.

That night, after Shanes father got home, they sat in the living room, sipped wine, and talked about everything. The past and the future. Shane and Helen were cuddeling all the time, and acted like they were newlyweds. “So. Yo`re still working at the lather together?” Alice asked. “Yeah. It`s Helen, me and dad” Shane laughed. “But we love it, you know. All the celebrites wants us to do their hair” Shane joked, but Alice knew they were popular. “Mhm…I know. I read an article on how well the lather is going.” Shane smiled proudly, which she seemed to be doing quite often.
“It`s certainly good to be home in L.A again” Alice said before she yawned. “Well, It`s good to have you back” Shane said and got up from the couch. She looked at Helen and smiled slyly. “We`re going to bed, so we`ll see you tomorrow. The bed is ready for you downstairs and if you need anything, please yell at me.Or, uhmm don`t yell. We don`t want Oscar to wake up”.
“Ok. Thanks” Dana replied, and watched Shane take Helens hand, and led her upstairs.
“They look so happy Dana. Our Shane has grown up” Alice looked emotional. “She`s barely 28″ Dana said, totally missing Alices point.
“Let`s go to bed” Alice muttered and pulled Dana closer.

Shane and Helen started to kiss as soon as they got upstairs. “I`ve been wanting to jump you all day Shany” Helen joked. “I`ve noticed” Shane smiled and went into the bathroom to brush her teeth. “That pajama look so ***** on you” Helen said as Shane entered the bedroom again. “Thank you baby” Shane whispered in her ear, and kissed her. “Tomorrow, I`ll take you, Oscar, Alice and Dana to the park, to visit the killer ducks. I think it`s been a while” Shane laughed as she kissed Helen again, gently on the lips. Helen easily pushed her down in the bed, and leaned over her. “I love you more and more everyday Shane Mccutcheon”.
