Chapter 21

They arrived at the beach and walked to a silent spot near a big rock so the could sit in the shadow and lie in the sun from time to time. It was still quiet on the beach because it wasn’t even midday yet.. They settled down and had fun with the bath towels. Bette and Tina lied down next to each other in the sun and the other 3 girls laid their bath towels across them so they could lie with their heads near each other and talk.

Shane: I don’t know about you, but I’m going to catch some sleep first, watch my stuff please..

Alice: ayah captain!

Bette and Tina locked eyes when they heard that sentence and smiled to each other shyly. Soon everybody was lying down and Tina got her magazine. She laid it in front of her on the huge towel and start studying the cover..

Bette: oehh a magazine! Move over, I want to read it too.. we could read it together

Tina gave her a knowing look and a bad girl smile. Bette moved over to Tina’s bath towel and they both leaned on their elbows to read the magazine. Tina turned the page and now both of them were blinded by the white page..

Bette: omg.. you could just blindfolded me if you didn’t want me to see anything.. I have to get my sunglasses

Tina: pff me too!

They laid back and this time they pushed their hips together and their shoulders. Bette looked at Tina and gave her a soft smile which said that she wouldn’t go any further. Bette respected Tina’s wishes, although she still had no clue about what she thought of last night. Tina on the other hand found it quite cute and enjoyed to watch Bette suffer and doing her best for her.

The gang talked about the stories in the magazine and the pictures they saw.. there was one story about an famous actor coming out and being proud to be a lesbian.

As soon Shane heard the word lesbian she was awake.

Shane: who’s a lesbian?

Dana: well.. maybe those two are (pointing to Bette and Tina)
