    Chapter 31. In the park.. up to a deep talk..

    They kissed gently for a while, just enjoying each other’s lips and the peaceful environment. Tina caressed Bette cheek and said: fancy a walk through the park with me baby?

     

    Bette: yes please.

     

    She took her hand and together they walked through the park, watching the children playing and the ducks near the water. Tina saw a free bench so they headed that way and sat down to watch the ducks some more. Both were deep in thought and just enjoyed each others company. Bette was caressing her hand with her dump and asked: ‘how was your day sweetie?’

     

    Tina: well.. this morning I woke up next to my sexy lover so my day started really well! She took care of me and I felt really happy and great.. but..

     

    Bette: but what (staring intensely to her girlfriend)

     

    Tina: this morning it was very awkward at school, it felt like everybody was staring at me (a little sad again about the memory of this morning)

     

    Bette: really? What a losers! They are just jealous that we found each other and are happily in love..

     

    Tina: that’s just what Helena said! (smiling) She’s just a lovely girl, together with Lara and Brenda. I got really scared and asked myself if we did the right thing, but they convinced me that I don’t have to give a damm about all those people.. If I want to be with you, I just have to happy and enjoy my time with you.

     

    Bette: do you?

     

    Tina: of course I do! But there is more..

     

    Bette: really?

     

    Tina: yeah, Eric called.. he was really angry and he felt like some sort of an alien because everyone was staring at him.. he asked if I was drunk because we outed ourselves last night..  (smirking)

     

    Bette: well.. first of all.. he IS an alien.. secondly, You were a little tipsy (smirking and punched her)

     

    Tina: he (punching back) You were too, alright! And yes you’re right.. I set him straight.. I told him that it was our choice to come out last night, and that it had nothing to do with him. He said that everybody stared at him because they all knew that I left him for a woman.. and I told him that it’s the truth and that I don’t want to lie about that.
