It doesnt matter, I mean, You won the first one, and this was already a big achievement, youll have plenty of occasions on which youll be able to show how good a player you are Lara took Dana in for a hug, trying to wipe Danas tears away. Dana hided her head in Laras neck, wanting to forget everything in her arms.
She started sucking at Laras earlobe, sticking her tongue out, feeling the womans smile against her cheek. Laras hands reached round, unbuttoning her blouse, the passion rising. Their lips finally found each other, their tongues dueling, ravaging their mouths.
Lara abruptly pushed Dana in the direction of their bedroom, making her stumble and fall to the ground. They laughed, Dana attempted to get back up but instead, Lara dropped to her knees, holding her firmly on the ground, deciding that it was of no use to try and make it to the bedroom since there was so much space in the house.
Lara slid her hand up from Danas knee, under her skirt, pushing past her thighs. Dana had to stop sucking on Laras nipples and arched her back, moans escaping her lips as Lara found a steady rythm, drawning both of them into unbridled passion.

Shane parked her car in front of the house. She checked, once again the adress her boss had given her of the client she was supposed to do the hair of, and frowned. According to the paper, she had found the right place, but the house seemed rather disused. She decided to go check and walked up to the front, ringing the bell. She realised the bell was broken, but the door was standing slightly ajar. She pushed it further open glancing at the entry. She couldnt make out any sound indicating the presence of somebody.
She slowly crept forward, going past several shabby looking empty rooms.
Hi she heard, coming from the room on her left. She couldnt properly see it so she couldnt make out who had talked to her. But the voice seemed rather familiar, a voice she had tried to forget. She froze, her hand pushing the door open.

    They cant !
I know, thats what I thought too, but he seems quite determined and hes already convinced the council. Im afraid you cant do anything against it
I gave so much up for this ***** CAC ! I worked hard to put it higher than other galleries, they cant !
Theyve got the law with them Bette. Lets face it, you cant lead a gallery if youre blind ! And they can prove it anytime. Youd better accept the agreement out of court and the money theyre offering, its the best you can get anyway.
She sighed. The CAC was the last thing she had from her past life that was more or less still standing, and now it was crumbling to pieces like the rest. She had to begin everything from the start : with Tina, with her job, with the woman she wanted to be.
She turned, not wanting James to see her tears.
Im sorry he softly said, if I believed there could be another way Id advise you to fight, but its of no use, unless you know youre going to recover your sight soon, lets say in a weeks time.
She shook her head. The doctors prognostics were getting more confused every day. They had told her it was a physical sequel to her accident, but now, they couldnt tell her why her sight wasnt coming back and she was getting every day more desperate. Sometimes she even wondered if she would be able to see again.
The situation with Tina wasnt any better. Bette had been happy at first, to see Tina wasnt rejecting her and didnt seem afraid of moving back in. But now, she was wondering if being with Tina every day, the polite coldness of their interactions, wasnt the worst thing that could have happened to her. Everytime she would try and get close, make a joke, feel that Tina was reacting to her, Tina would simply flee, barricading herself in her mind.
The situation was slowly eating Bette from the inside, getting on her nerves, pushing her too far.
She waited for him to leave, then grabbed the nearest thing and slammed it to the ground, an outlet for her frustration and anger. It shattered into pieces and from the noise she guessed it was a vase she had broken. She fell to the ground, trying to gather and pick up the pieces but all she managed to do is cut her hands. She broke down, feeling helpless, upset, hating herself for being in such a position where she relied on every body. But Tina was at the Center, she couldnt be helped by anybody and she didnt want anybody to see her distress.
It was short, little rushes of pain, like being stung by a bee, and it distracted her, though for a short time, from her aching heart. She extended her bare arms, rolling them on the ground, lying down herself, rolling and writhing on the ground. She felt the cuts, the small trickles of blood but she couldnt see it and somehow, this took some part of the pain away.
She didnt realise she was slowly falling asleep, exhausted, and her head finally hit the ground.

So, what did you think of it ? Jenny eagerly asked the woman. Her name was Raine and she was English. She had given in to Jennys supplications and had accepted to take a look at her work.
Raine looked her up and down, making Jenny stare at the ground.
Nothing she calmly said with a pronounced english accent.
She turned her back to Jenny, reached for a file in her bag and dropped it on the desk Take it back. And she walked away.
Jenny was left speechless, she couldnt even talk. She had prepared herself for criticism, she knew Raine wasnt going to compliment her. But she hadnt been prepared for this. Her work wasnt bad, no. Raine had simply told her that her work dindt even deserve to be taken into consideration.
Wait she shouted. She started to run madly down the hallway, forgetting every notion of pride.
She caught up with her and had to put herself in front of Raine in order to make her stop walking, forcing her to look at her. Raine cast her a cold and daring look.
What Jenny gasped, breathing frantically What can I do to improve it ?
Theres nothing to improve Jenny Raine calmly stated staring at her, wondering how she dared to follow her and make her waste her precious time. She took one step forward but Jenny blocked her.
Ill do everything, just help me she pleaded, I want to be good, please.
Raine took her in, seizing her. The little girl intrigued her, she hadnt expected her to be so bold, but she was also clearly weak and Raine could easily imagine gaining the full control over her. She smiled inwardly : this was going to be fun.
Fine she finally said, qith an exasperated and tired tone of voice come to my place, at seven, tomorrow evening. And she brushed past Jenny, her mind already working on some schemes.

Bette ?! Tina rushed to the sleeping form, screaming her name. She had come home to discover Bette lying on the ground, covered in blood. The blood everywhere had made her heart jump and she had practically leaped forward, crashing on the ground, on Bette’s side. The sight of Bette lying there had unravelled a series of emotions in her she couldn’t control nor analise. All she knew was that she couldn’t take her eyes off of Bette, silently begging that she would be ok.
She tried to drag her up, feeling Bette stir.
Bette, what happened ? she desperately asked, not really hoping to get an answer.
She managed somehow or other to bring Bette to their bedroom and lay her down. Bette mumbled senseless words : forgive please so sorry.
Once she had regained consciousness, she managed to tell Tina who was nursing her cuts, that she had tripped over the vase and had fallen down.
Tina seemed to be satisfied with this lame excuse. She perfectly knew, from the way Bette had been cut, everywhere, especially on the arms, that she wasnt telling her the truth, but she decided to play the innocent and oblivious one. If Bette didnt want to tell her, she sure as ***** wasnt going to push her. She sighed, considering what she had just thought. Bette and her had grown appart, they had become strangers, keeping their feelings for themselves, and Tina knew it was partly her fault. But not being able to share anything was harder than she had thought. She longed for their past silent complicity. But she wasnt going to admit it, nor tell Bette.
