Goodbye my lover. Chapter 4

When Bette woke up, she had to take in her surroundings. She looked around and noticed that she wasn’t in Kit’s house. Than she remembered what had happened and where she was. She got out of the bed and walked over to Angelica’s crib. She wasn’t there. She decided to go and take a look in the house, find out where Tina and Angel were.

When she walked into the living room she heard Tina humming a song and was welcomed with a sight that she hadn’t seen in a long time. Tina was sitting on the couch while breastfeeding Angelica.

Tina hadn’t heard Bette walking into the living room as she kept humming a song for her daughter. She had her eyes closed, as did Angelica. Before Bette said anything, Tina could feel her presence near. She always did when it came to Bette. Whenever she would walk into a room she could sense Bette.

She opened her eyes and found Bette staring at her. Tina began to blush as she realized that Angelica was done being fed and that her breast was now exposed.

Bette quickly turned her head to cover up her blushing and said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt anything.” “You’re not interrupting.” Tina said as she tried to fix her blouse, which wasn’t easy because Angelica was busy waving her arms and kicking her legs. Tina blushed again as she asked, “Uhm Bette could you maybe …” she looked at Angelica and than back at Bette. “What? Oh yeah of course.” Bette walked over to Tina and rather awkwardly took Angel into her arms. Then she turned around again to give Tina some privacy to fix her blouse.

When Tina had finished she walked over to Bette and touched her shoulder. “Would you like some breakfast?” she asked Bette. Bette hesitated. “I don’t know Tina, I should probably go home …” Bette suddenly stopped when she realized what she had said. This was her home. The house she was standing in had been her home for the past eight years. Tears began to form in her eyes when she realized she didn’t have a home anymore. Tina got closer to Bette and wiped away a lone tear that had made its way on her cheek. “Please Bette, it’s the least I can do for you!” she said when she actually wanted to say that she didn’t want Bette to go! “Ok, but I need to call Kit first.” Tina smiled. “Sure, you know where the phone is. You call Kit and I start breakfast!” and with that Tina walked into the kitchen.
