    Goodbye Party-Chapter 14 

     

    April 22, 2012 

     

    New York City 

     

    "Thanks so much for helping me move out," Alice said smiling as Tina shut the Uhaul truck door. 

     

    Bette had been rolled down in a wheelchair to watch Tina, Kit, Alice, and Tasha loading the van. Angelica was sitting on her knee hugging her neck, making sure to not press on Bette’s stomach. 

     

    "So we’ll be visiting your new home soon?" Tina asked. 

     

    "Once we get all settled in," Alice said. 

     

    "I asked Shane to ship all my stuff over here," Tasha said, "it should be here soon." 

     

    "We can help if you want," Kit said. 

     

    "Definitely," Tina agreed. 

     

    "We’ll let you know," Tasha said. 

     

    "I’m so happy for you guys," Bette said. 

     

    "Thanks Bette," Alice said. 

     

    "Mommy, can I go visit Auntie Alice and Auntie Tasha?" Angelica said. 

     

    "Of course!" Tina said. 

     

    "We can have sleep overs any time sweetie," Alice assured. 

     

    Bette’s brow furrowed and Angelica looked at her. "Mommy are you okay?" 

     

    Tina was at their side almost instantly grabbing Bette’s hand, "Bette what’s wrong?" 

     

    "I don’t know, I feel weird," Bette said. 

     

    "Angie sweetie get off your mommy," Kit said taking Angelica’s hand and helping off her mother’s lap. 

     

    "Bette," Tina whimpered, "what do you feel? Are you in pain?" 

     

    "I’ll call an ambulance," Alice said taking Tasha’s cell phone and dialing. 

     

    Tasha ran to Bette’s side and put her hand on her stomach. Bette groaned in pain and gripped Tasha’s arm. 

     

    "Oh my God!" Tina cried looking at the ground where there was a puddle of water. 

     

    "Her water broke! She’s having these babies right now!" Tasha cried. 

     

    "No that’s impossible!" Tina cried, "she still has two months!" 

     

    "It’s very common for babies to be born prematurely at 7 months," Tasha said. 

     

    "I hear the sirens! The ambulance is almost here!" Alice yelled. 

     

    "Ahh!" Bette screamed grabbing her stomach. 

     

    "She’s getting strong contractions already, we have to go now!" Tasha yelled. 

     

    "I’ll take care of Angie," Kit said. 

     

    "Take her upstairs please!" Tina cried. 

     

    Kit lifted Angie into her arms and ran up the stairs to the apartment.

    6. It’s a shame Eric wasn’t able to get Alice off the charges… maybe he can win her a massive settlement instead. I thought Molly might be the one to back out of the proposed threesome, but it seems the idea is gaining steam and Shane’s reservations are falling to the wayside. I hope the babies are all okay and Bette pulls through. Thanks for the post!
