    After 4 months, Shane returns home

    4 months later. . .

    After the whole nightmare of the wedding Shane lived with Carla, her dads ex- wife. Shane needed time

    to think about her decision and her life. She knew what she did was unforgivable. The way she left

    things back home really bothered her. Its been a lonely 4 months for Shane. She called Alice once a

    week to see how things were back home. She could tell in Alice’s voice that she was disappointed in

    Shane. She really wanted to ask about Carmen and how she was doing but never got the courage to ask.

    Shane convinced herself to think was she did was for the best. It was the only way she could kept

    herself from going insane. She hoped staying with Carla and having her space could maybe get her life in

    order. In one days she was going to return to her stressful, crazy, and lonely life. The thought of going

    back to LA made her uneasy. Having to face her demons and her past didnt make Shane very happy.

    Everyone thought she was a coward for leaving Carmen without any explanation whatsoever. Shane

    thought maybe she was a coward, maybe she was wrong and just maybe she made the biggest mistake of

    her life. When she would return home she hoped Carmen was over her and she was leading a happy life. If

    she was truly happy than shane would know what she did was for the best. She always wondered if

    Carmen was truly happy when she was with her. Shane knew she was but never knew if Carmen was.

    Shane went to sleep with that question pondering in her head. The next morning Shane was going back to

    L.A. Shane was excited to see all of her friends.

    The next morning

     

    Shane woke up very early to catch the train. She said her goodbyes and thanks to Carla for letting her stay and now it was time to go. Alice was meeting her at the train station in LA. Shane was glad that Alice was going to be there, she knew at least someone cared about her. When she arrived at her destination she saw Alice have a big smile on her face. Shane was relieved to see Alice smile. When she got off the train Alice ran straight into Shane’s arm. The hugged each other so tightly it was crushing their ribs.
