    Chapter 10 / “I am never talking to you again.”

    CHAPTER 10

    "I am never talking to you again." Tina, who was breathing quite heavily, lie prostrate on her back on a bright blue mat. Her clothes were drenched and her face was flushed a frightening pink. She thought she was having a heart attack. There could be no other explanation for the pain that permeated every muscle and limb.

    On the contrary, Teresa looked spectacular. The Superintendent was literally soaked in sweat, but she was beaming. The thin sheet of perspiration on her caramel skin gave her an ethereal glow and her hair, pulled back in a loose ponytail, allowed her large eyes to shine. She was invigorated. Tina found her annoying.

    "Tina?"

    "Don’t. Not a word."

    Teresa held her hands up in defense and stepped back as Tina struggled to raise herself into a sitting position, "When this debacle started, you said it was only a 30 minute class. Correct?"

    "Yes, I did say that."

    "And how long was this class?"

    "I think it was possibly an hour."

    "I can tell you it was exactly 65 minutes long if you include the stretching portion of the class – which I do include, by the way – because it was as equally as painful as the workout." Tina looked up at Teresa and smiled in spite of her irritable state. "You loved it, didn’t you?"

    "I’m afraid to answer that," Teresa shifted her weight from one foot to the other and smiled cockily.

    "Fucking ridiculous. You’re not even out of breath."

    If Tina were honest with herself, part of the reason for her breathless state had almost as much to do with watching Teresa exercise as it was the actual strain from exercising her own form. Teresa had her own struggles. The push ups, jumping jacks, and burpees were easy enough, but watching Tina’s body move was an exercise in and of itself. The blonde may have been wearing a compression tank, but it could barely contain her ample chest. Every time the reporter jumped a jack or got on her hands in a plank position, Teresa had an enticing view of her breasts. The real reason for the rosy glow was her current state of arousal. The actual workout was a piece of cake.

    3. Oh so good to have you writing again on this story. I, too, am sad that the Code is being cancelled but this story will grow out the Teresa character deeper thatn the series would have. Thanks for writing this, scaf.

    10. Wow, is it my birthday?? Three chapters, scaf! You are on quite the roll! Love it. As much as I want them together, I love the flirts, and glances, and subtle(or not)come-ons, as well as the downright ogling. Happy to see you posting and can’t wait for Tina to collect on that IOU… in the shower, perhaps…..

    13. Really sad to know rhat the show was cancelled. Don’t think Fox gave it a chance. Understanding with the way the economy is, a show has to dazzlre from the first moments or studio execs. will cut their losses. Which means an early loss to viewers. Happy that you will give us more insight into TC for the forseeable future. Hope another network picks it up. The only thing I found that the show lacked was a close personal friend for TC. The girl was all work and no play, she had no outside interests and no one to talk or vent to at the end of the day. Now we all know who that could have been for TC, one beautiful blonde, Laurel Holloman. Personally, I thought that she would have been a great asset to the show, what with their great chemistry, just as a friend for TC. Thr producers and Fox have missed a great opportunity. Thaqnks for continuing our love affair with JB and LH.
