“Come on Dana” Alice said as she speed walked through the airport, dragging Dana behind her.

“Al…there are not going anywhere for God’s sake…they’re in jail” Alice sighed and stopped to look back at Dana who was wearing a stupid look on her face.

“Dana honey…do you remember what it was like when we got arrested before” Dana nodded,”they are probably about to ***** their pants”. Dana softened as Alice smiled back at her fiancee, Dana liked the sound of that word.

Downtown Lock Up

Keith rushed into the precinct as he looked from left to right searching for the rest of the gang. He quickly spotted Kit who was standing with Bette and Tina, Kayla had went back to her hotel with Isiah after Nylan and Shane were arrested but Kit was keeping her posted.

“What are they saying…are they gonna release them…” Keith questioned and Kit shrugged, unable to give him any answers so he walked over to an officer for assistance. “Excuse me are Nylan Pierson and Shane McKutcheon being released”. The officer didn’t give Keith she just rolled her eyes and said,”That’s the problem with these stars…they think the LAW doesn’t apply to them”.

“Look my baby’s innocent” Kit charged towards the stout woman but Bette and Keith stopped any further progression.

“That’s what they all say” Bette and Keith gave the woman a venomous stare,”They’re questioning them right now and after that I guess you’ll be able to post bail”the woman finished adding a ‘hmph’.

“What but their attorneys aren’t present” Bette added and Keith agreed.

“I can’t believe this *****…you can’t question them without their attorney present” Keith yelled at the cop.

“Well they refused a court appointed attorney so” she looked around at the group,”unless one of you just happens to be a lawyer…I guess we’re out of luck”.

“So did you and Ms. Neil have a sexual relationship” the detective asked and Nylan moved her mouth but no words came out. Greg Loughlin was a tall slightly heavy man with dark greasy hair and a hint of grey at each temple, he was a detective that was bent on the law being obeyed, excluding himself.

“Yeah…yes we did” she stuttered. Nylan was visibly shaken from the cop’s interrogation, her hands were sweating and her legs were shaking. It was also very hard for her to keep eye contact with the man. She couldn’t believe it after all the illegal ***** her and Shane had done in the past it took a ***** like Ambrosia to nail her ***** to the wall.

“Did it ever get rough”he questioned.

“What…no I never touched Ambrosia in any inappropriate way” Nylan answered and her gripped the back of the chair gripping the back as his face flushed with anger, he was getting frustrated with Nylan’s lies,”Has my lawyer been contacted yet” she asked innocently. He stared back blankly at her as he lunged forward and Nylan sprung up from her chair but she was cornered by the tall man.

“You listen to me you little ***** *****” he gripped Nylan’s collar tightly and clenched his teeth,”we have the pictures okay…we know you and your friend not only assaulted but you also forced her to have ***** with you…I mean as if the way you choose to live your lives isn’t perverted enough”. Nylan could feel his hot breathe on her face as he spoke and her heart rate sped up and the veins in her temples began to flench. ‘What ***** pictures…she’s trying to set me up’ Nylan thought so she wasn’t going to implicate herself anymore.

“I’m not answering anymore questions until my lawyer is present” she said calmly and he let her out of his embrace.

“Fine” he said,”Fred throw her back in lock up”. If Nylan or Shane weren’t going to speak he was going to hold them overnight maybe even longer if he could get the judge to set the bail high enough.

“Look can we see them please” Kit begged.

“Sure” the woman said.

“You can go me and Keith are going to stay and see if we can find out what is the hold up with their bail hearing” Bette waved Kit off as Keith stepped to the side to make a phone call. Tina grabbed Kit’s hand in plea to see if it was okay if she came along. Kit glanced at Bette who was busy talking to the clerk and pulled Tina along.

“Hey what going on” Alice yelled as she saw Tina and Kit walking away, Bette raised her hand to silence Alice. Dana walked in shortly after parking the car, waving to Keith before joining Alice and Bette.

Nylan sat on the cot with her knees pulled to her chest, rocking back and forth as she thought back to the first day she had met Ambrosia. She wished she had never gotten caught up with that woman but she seemed so nice and sweet at first. Deep down Ambrosia was a vengeful, cold hearted ***** ‘hmph…karma ain’t it a *****’ she thought.

“Hi” came the familiar voice and Nylan lifted her head from between her knees, staring back at Tina and Kit. Nylan quickly rolled off the bed and ran to the bars, she reached through them desperately searching for human contact. Kit snaked her hands through the bars to cup Nylan’s face,”I’m sorry” she whispered to Kit. Nylan glanced at Tina momentarily before focusing on her mother again.

“You have to find Shane…they took me out so they could question me and when I came back she was gone” Nylan gripped Kit’s shirt tightly as she spoke.

“Okay…okay” Kit whispered as she stroked her child’s cheek gingerly. She let go of Nylan and turned to Tina,”I’ll be back just stay with her”. Kit left on her search for Shane and Tina’s eyes fell to the floor, she glanced up to see Nylan with her head down leaning against the bars. Nylan caught Tina’s stare and began to speak.

“No I didn’t do it” she said in a somewhat angry tone and Tina looked at her with sympathetic eyes.

“Did you sleep with her” Nylan nodded slightly,”While we were togther” Tina asked.

“No” Nylan answered rather loudly, “no” she said again lowering her voice,”I never cheated on you” and Tina thought it was in an accusing tone.

“You had a wife Nylan”Tina voice was louder than usual,”a wife and a child…you lied to me”. Nylan lowered her head in shame.

“You said you loved me…you lied to ME” Nylan yelled,”You know what it doesn’t matter now…everything is back how its supposed to be”. Tina sighed at Nylan’s smart assed tone.

“It wasn’t Bette that was standing in the way of our relationship…it was you and your lies and secrets and…” Nylan interrupted Tina’s tirade.

“And my lack of communication but that runs in the family” Nylan laughed at her comment and grabbed Tina’s hand,”Give her some time she’s just being stubborn…I know she still loves you…who wouldn’t”. Bette cleared her throat making her presence known.

“Hey” she said smiling at Nylan barely acknowledging Tina.

“Shane baby…how are you” Shane tried to calm Kit by smiling but she hated this place.

“I’m okay…but you have to check on Nylan I haven’t seen since they bought us in” Kit grinned at the way they looked out for one another, she was glad Nylan had Shane when she wasn’t around.

“She’s okay…Tina’s with her now” Shane gave Kit a questioning glare.

“How is everyone taking it” Shane asked.

“Bette, Tina, and Keith are here, Kayla at the hotel with Isiah, and Dana and Alice are on the way” Shane shook her head slightly.

“So when are they letting us go” she asked.

“I can’t spend the night in this shithole….I didn’t rape her and I’m not going down for something I haven’t done” Nylan screamed,”Do you know they have pictures and *****…how is that possible”.

“Calm down Nylan” Bette said as Tina stared at Nylan wide eyed at the hysteria she was in at this moment.

“Calm down” Nylan questioned,”calm down…do you know they are handing out prison sentences for early Christmas gifts…you gotta get us out of here Bette” she began sobbing as she held onto the bars tightly.

“Hi I came as soon as I heard” Lara said hugging Alice and then Dana,”congratulations” she whispered into Dana’s ear.

“Thank you” they said in unison.

“Merging already huh” Lara joked. “I can’t believe Ambrosia would pull something like this…I thought she was a really sweet person” Lara’s tone became very serious as she stared back at the happy couple.”You guys don’t think they…”.

“No no of course not Shane and Nylan…rape…never” Alice said.

“Just checking because I’ve given a part of myself to that woman” Lara said putting her hands on her hips,”and I’m not about to let it go to waste”.
