Hindmost: Chapter 3
Bette must have been standing at the Her and Her sink for more than a few minutes because she heard the sound of the shower water being turned off. Within seconds Candace stepped out taking Bette’s breath away. She’s beautiful, Bette thought to herself. She allowed her eyes to move down her body from her long flowing tresses to the patch between her legs and lower to the toe nails that were painted a pale pink.
Her eyes quickly scanned back upwards noting that Candace was recently shaven. Bette flushed red as her thoughts went to last night. After arriving home to an empty house she had stepped out of her Emilio Pucci dress that Candace has purchased as a gift for her birthday and hopped into a shower for a brief cleansing. She was leaning into the shower allowing the water to cleanse the filth from the daily grind of L.A. life when she was surprised by the opening of the shower curtain. Almost jumping out of her skin she raised her hand to her chest before stating, “You scared me”.
“I’m sorry, babe. Actually, maybe I’m not. You look so cute right now”, Candace replied laughingly.
“Are you teasing me Ms. Jewell”, Bette asked.
“Never. Babe, it looks like you need my help”, she said. Candace’s eyes had traveled to the shaving cream and razor that made its way to the bathroom after Bette decided she needed a shave moments before. “Do you need me to shave you?”
Bette’s eyes darkened with passion before she huskily replied yes. In a few moments, Candace had joined Bette underneath the stream of water. She captured Bette’s lip for a brief kiss before creating a path down to her navel all the while with razor and shaving cream in hand. She was on her knees with the water cascading around her before applying some shaving cream around Bette’s sensitive womanhood.
Candace began to make small gentle strokes with the razor while Bette held on to her head to keep steady. After a few minutes Bette realized she felt no pressure from the razor and glanced down to see what Candace was doing. Candace had a slight smirk on her face before stating laughing, “Done”. When Bette glanced down at her pubic area she couldn’t stop the burst of laughter that sprang from her lips. Candace had shaved the letter C in her pubes.
That was yesterday, Bette thought to herself as she noted Candace’s refusal to look her directly in the eyes today. A pained expression crossed Bette’s face before she made an attempt to cut into the tension that had filled the bathroom. “Babe, did something happen?, Bette asked. Are your parents and family ok?”
During the lengthy time spent in front of the mirror, she realized that maybe Candace wasn?t upset about her. That’s why she rushed to inquire about her other loved ones.
“Yes. Why do you ask that”, Candace asked with a croak.
“You just seem strange since I left you in the kitchen. Is breakfast in bed still an option”, Bette asked. She was trying to return the feelings of this morning. No clue what created this change in Candace’s demeanor, she wanted to return to the mood set forth this morning.
Candace cleared her throat before stating, “I’m going out. I’m going to visit Jakey today.”
“Oh…”, Bette felt responded. “You’re going over Yolanda’s house?”
“That’s where Jake lives. So yes”, Candace stated.
“Ok, when can I expect you back? Are you bringing him over here? We can make a visit to Chuck E Cheese. You know how much he enjoys it”, Bette replied.
Making a move towards the bathroom door Candace glanced back before stating, “I don’t know how long I’ll be. You should go out and hang with your girlfriends. Maybe look Tina up since you haven’t heard from her in six months, right?”
Candace walked out without a second glance causing the wind to escape Bette. Bette leaned against the sink to catch her breath.

I think your story is good. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why everyone hates Candace so much, and still think Bette’s the greatest, when it most definitely takes two to tango. So keep going with your story, and ignore the star ratings. I’m intrigued, and I bet others are as well, they just don’t want to comment.
I like your writing style…your stories flow very well.
See the stars are beginning to shine for you. Love this candance is jealous of Tina, After breaking up B/T home. Pay back is hell. thanks 5stars.
Yeah gal.. this is great.. I like where you’re going with this story.. keep up the good writing…
I like the storyline because its a little bizarre. Bette is the passive insecure one? Well its your story… I encourage you to continue. However, the part that Bette calls her C… come on… that is for Tina…no??
Good luck and keep writting…
