“Thanks Tasha, I will go with you to her doctor’s appointment tomorrow, what time is it?" asked Bette.
“At two" said Tasha.
“Great. I have practice at 9 am. It should be over at twelve. Get some rest, you must be beat. I am going to crash on the couch” said Bette.
Bette was glad when she called Tina it went to voice mail. She really wasn’t ready to talk to her so she left a message.
“Babe, Alice got home today and I am staying with them tonight. We both have had a lot to process today. I love you, talk to you later”
Bette woke up at six am, checked on Alice then went for her run.
“I wonder what Tina will think of me now and how this will change our relationship. I need to appear strong on the outside but under that I am coming apart at the seams. Tripping on my pride cause me not seek help. After stabbing Jonathan I thought I could pick up the pieces myself. I spoke to Carmen at our last session that my dad was never said that he loved us or gave us hugs. He showed us love by providing for us. He paid attention to us when we received excellent grades and excelled at sports. I craved his attention so I became the perfect student, the star athlete.
She also asked how I handled the rejection from my dad about me being gay. I had never really thought about but telling her that I wanted his attention. I guess the next logic question was to ask. Daddy was not emotional but getting his approval through my achievement in school was the closest I was going to get since the loss of my mother and I was going to hold on with both hands. I knew I was gay in seventh grade. I wanted the most popular girl in school to be my girlfriend. I tried to hide it for a long time. When I did tell him at fifteen I had resigned myself that he would hate me forever. But what he did was worse. He ignored me as a person, I mean we are not defined by our sexuality but the acceptance of the intimate we have with other when the people you love accept or reject, that it hurts”

A french comment?? Where? Who? I’m so tired of speaking french all day long lol, my friends don’t know the rules, I mean my rules. Ok, just for you : si tu m’obliges à écrire un commentaire en français, alors moi je vais t’obliger à regarder des vidéos que tu n’aimes pas, tu vois ce que je veux dire… lol. End of it hehe. Now I just wish you won’t translate what I wrote lol. Seriously, you know how much I like the last chapters of H and L, Tina so caring with Bette, Bette finally opening herself and telling all she had to go through, and the whole Alice story. That was a great chapter again. Thx.
This is a very interesting story but I am slightly confused as to whether the story is about basketball or B+T & co. the info about basketball is interesting though:)
