"Um, how about later?" Tina asked.

"Later it is. Bye." Bette says.

"Bye." Tina ends the call. "Woooooooohoooooo!" Tina shouts.

Alice and Kit jump. Alice accidently hits her head against the door. She looks at Kit and takes off running. Kit, easily backs away from the door. And, like Alice, she takes off too, but, she walks fast. Her days of breaking off running were over.

Tina sits up with her mouth open. She closes it and walks over to her door. She thinks of Alice snooping and quickly opens the door. The hall was empty and she could hear the girls laughing in the kitchen. She makes her way through her house and approaches the kitchen door. Together, she swings the doors open and enters.

"Hey T…" Alice waves, and continues to laugh. Her face was flushed red.

"Hey…" Tina enters the kitchen and looks around suspiciously. "What’s so funny?"

"Oh…" Alice catches her breath. She adds, "This joke Kit was telling me."

Tina gazes over at Shane. "Is she telling me the truth?" Tina asked.

"Nope. She’s lying. She was listening at the door." Shane replies.

Alice backs away from Tina. "I had the urge to listen." She raises her hand defying her innocence.

"We didn’t hear much. We came when the conversation was ending." Kit cuts in.

"Kit??? I’m a bit surprised. You’re not the noisy type."

"I know…I know. But, I had to listen. You guys been fighting for a while now. I’m just thrilled that you came out smiling instead of crying." Kit says.

"Aww, that’s nice of you to say. And, the conversation was fantastic. I actually enjoyed talking to her." Tina replies.

"Cool. I can’t wait until you move back in together. It’s hard traveling from house to house." Shane says.

"Don’t jump the gun. Bette and I have some steps to complete first." Tina replies.

"Oh, that’s cool. We’ve waited this long, and I’m sure we can wait another year." Shane says.

"Great!" Tina claps and stands. "So, whose in the mood for some music?" Tina asked.

"Not me." Shane says. "I’m going home to take a shower."

"I’m with you on that." Alice replies, and grabs the trash. "Bye Tina. Talk to ya later." She hugs her friend on the way out the house.

Kit puts the broom away and approaches Tina.

"You’re leaving too." Tina asked.

"Yes. I had a great time." Kit says, as she kisses the side of Tina’s cheek. "We must do it again." Kit adds.

"We will. Hey, and thanks for coming and staying the night. I loved having you over, even though I don’t remember saying it was okay to stay." Tina replies.

"No problem." Kit chuckles. "Bye." Kit walks off.

"Bye." Tina replies.

Tina closes the door and collaspes against it. She looks around the house and realizes it clean. She opens the door to say thank-you, but, the girls had just pulled off down the street…
