Dressed only in a towel, Alice went sprinting through her apartment dripping water over the floor into her bedroom and paused for a second, she could hear the ringing from the bathroom but could not find where the phone actually was, she flung the blanket off the bed in hopes of finding it underneath and in tern her phone hit the wall at speeds.
***** Alice said picking it up from the floor and making sure it was still in working order.
Hello?
Hey Al Dana said with an absence of tone.
Hey Dane, whats up? Alice said brushing off Danas tone.
Alice why are you panting? Dana said in a puzzled tone.
Was in the shower, had to get the phone, couldnt find the phone, you know how it goes Alice said sitting on the edge of her bed.
Yeah, look Al I need to talk to you so can you meet me at the planet in about half an hour
Yeah, sure, look Dana is every thing ok? Alice asked nervously.
Yeah everything is fine, look I will see you in a little while ok
Yeah you will

Alice hung up the phone and sat motionless on the edge of her bed. I need to talk to you. That didnt sound good; all kinds of scenarios began to run through her head. First their was the Look I am really sorry but I dont want to ruin the friendship scenario. Then came the She is suing you for personal damages scenario, ands then finally their was the scenario where last night had all been a dream and Dana needed to talk to her to ask her to be her bisexual best man. Alice shook her head and pushed all of her thoughts to the back of her head, she got up and decided that she may as well bite the bullet and get dressed at least before going to the planet.

Twenty minutes later Alice walked through the doors of the planet and looked around for Dana, she noticed a lot of the regulars but not the one she was looking for.
Al Dana said from behind Alice. Alice shot around to face her, and noticed that she was smiling at her.
Hey Alice said
Al are you ok?
Yeah, you just scarred me a little They made their way to a table in the corner of the room, Dana sat down across from Alice and neither said a word for a few moments.
Dana you said you wanted to talk to me about something?
Yeah I did
Well would you kill the suspense already?
Dana looked up at Alice and then away from her. Alice I told Tonja last night after I left your apartment
Their it was, the reason she had needed to talk to her.
And, Alice said braising her self for what she was sure was coming.
***** the both of you was her response Dana said in a relaxed manner.

Well what did you expect her to say? Oh, hey no thats cool you two have a lovely life together?
What did you tell her?
The truth, you know, something along the lines of I cant marry you because Im in love with Alice Dana said waving a hand around as though it was nothing to be concerned with.
Well, yeah I can see why she may not have been 0over Zealous when you put it like that
Yeah she yelled a few other obscenities at me and then collected her things and left Alice looked away from Dana when she had said how Tonja had left.
Al is every thing ok?
Yeah every thing is fine
Then why did you just look away then?
Look its really nothing. I guess I just never expected you to tell her so quickly, thats all Alice admitted.
What would you have preferred I wait until the day of the wedding? Dana said in a slightly heated tone.
No it not like that, its just that I have never had anyone willing to sacrifice so much to be with me let alone so quickly
Alice I dont see this as a sacrifice, I see this as going after what I want, I didnt sacrifice my relationship with Tonja to be with you, I sacrificed my love of you to be with Tonja in a marriage that wouldnt have work any way, Alice I dont regret this, I only regret not doing it sooner.
Alice looked up and was crying gently to her self.
Dana?
Yeah Dana said taking Alices hand in her.
