Hunt for a hidden history
Marcus, a large Black man with a toothy smile, held his muscular arms in front of his chest as he watched his friend move fast toward him. “Christina Kennard.” He grinned, “you’ve become old.”
Marcus was a family friend, his father used to be Tina’s father’s deputy several decades ago, and he looked after the blonde when she was in training at the academy where he volunteered as a teaching assistant.
It had been a while. Tina temporarily abandoned her heavy mind as she greeted her old friend, inquiring about his life and family. Though she was a little suspicious when he called her back, saying that he had someone in the department of homeland security to pull some ranks, she was reassured by his confidence. Coming from an old police family had its potential benefits, she followed behind him to the control building and thought, there was always somebody to rely on.
“So, I heard your department was rendered meritorious service this year, how was that?”
Tina gave him a stiffened smile, “actually, the person I’m trying to find is related to that case.”
He arched a brow, impressed. “You know, your dad would be really proud.”
She winced a little at the mention of her late father, then chuckled, ah the irony. Would he still be proud to know that she got herself suspended trying to save her lesbian lover who also happened to be a longtime drug dealer? No fucking way. He would’ve flipped out, refused to talk to her, and probably disowned her too. Yet the notion of disgracing her father felt so distant to her now. She had made up her mind to stop cowering away in front of the vanity of her family, in front of so-called “justice”, and choose to do what she believed was right, for the woman who never deserved all the mistreatment and discrimination, for her conscience.
After a brief introduction and pretended cordial greeting with Marcus’s friend, Tina dived in straight ahead to the technician cubicle. She typed in her badge number to register on the system, secretly nervous that it would show her suspended status. Fortunately, Kroll seemed not to have made it official.
“Sarah…Schuster.” The young tech was quick to scan through years of records.

Alright, folks, it’s been a hell of a ride filled with my craziness, as you can see that the story is drawing to an end.
I promised you a good ending, so I’m working on the last few chapters and I feel a bit elated not to have to write about more blood and gun and fight.
Thanks for tolerating and reading! Comments are welcome as usual! Or just tell me random stuff, what’s on your mind.
Love and Peace

oh and dunn, bibi, lip, guys come on, I love HELENA! She’s so darn cute, especially from season 3 and on. To me she’s pretty harmless. I don’t get why so many people depict her as a evil bitch. She’s such a cinnamon bun, doesn’t deserve any of the shit people been throwing her way LOL

Don’t have the time to read now but I agree a little bit about your praise of Helena. But she will never my favourite woman.
Till later. ..

Here i am again and wow, what Bette is willing to endure, phew. Have a lot of respect for her and for you to be able to write it.
I am glad that Tina found Sarah Schuster and some how i knew that her real name was Jenny! That nutcase. I hate her more than Helena and you do a good job to make me like her :-).
But i am ready for the good stuff in this story, so bring it asap.
Thanks for the update!
