    Alice:” So Bette have you seen The Carpenter?”

    Chapter 5

     

    Polly:’’ Tina it’s your call, but you were thinking of her when I came over weren’t you? Do you want to keep thinking about her in Day’s, Month’s or even years, just wondering………… what if? My advice is to go back and try to fix this, you know if it doesn’t work out at least you can say you tried.’’

    Tina:’’ Yeah, I was. You know you’re right, I have to go back, I have to go and see if we can fix this.’’

    Tina bids farewell to Polly and thanks her for her advice and wishes her well with the arrival of her second baby. She returns to the hotel and packs her bag and takes it to the car, she retrieves her phone and begins to send a message

     

    ‘’I’m coming home’’ is all she puts. She presses the send button and starts the car and starts the long drive home!

     

     

    Meanwhile Back in LA……….

    Bette had just left Tina her 234th message, she was beside herself. She hadn’t seen the shower in all week and it was showing.

    Bette:’’ I just need to know that she’s ok Shane ya know, that’s all I ask, she can even just tell me to Fuck Off, then at least I’ll know that she’s still alive.’’

    Shane:’’ Bette it’s only been a week, just chill, she’s ok.’’

    Bette:’’ Really do you know that for sure, has she been in touch with you or Alice?’’

    Shane:’’ Nooo, you know that, besides I would have told you and Alice hasn’t said anything to me. Then again, she is on Tina’s side with this.’’

    Bette:’’ I know, she’s tried to lecture me every day that Tina’s been gone. I just wished she would know when to keep her gob shut sometimes.’’

    Shane:’’ Yeah, you’d think her batteries would run sometimes, when she goes off on one.’’

    Just then Alice enters Bette’s house.

    Alice:’’ Who’s batteries would run out’’ looking between the two women.

    They both look at each other and let out a small chuckle.

    Bette:’’ Nothing Alice, just a private joke’’

    Alice:’’ Oh, Ok! Ya know porter have you seen the shower lately or is there something off in here,cos it kinda smells funny.’’

    11. Loved that Bette fought back. Tells me she’s not completely done in. Not sure how it’ll go when Tina arrives.By the way you could get these chapters in as “R” you haven’t quite pushed the story to NC-17 just yet. Thanks so much for sharing your talents!

    14. Bette send everyone home and do not tell Alice the message was from Tina. Shane will keep the secret and leave them alone but Alice will not. Get your shower, spiff up the house, get flowers for her, make a meal for her because she will be tired when she gets in. Get on your knees if you have to and ask her forgiveness again, profess your undying love and let her set the rules for engagement and by all means never stray from the rules she sets and never, never again stray from your marriage. Really like this story and thanks for sharing with us.
