I remember…jolie demoiselle
Joseph Arthur : In the Sun
Dana was startled: what was that just all about? What had gotten into Alice? She was so shocked that she had to sit down on the steps for a few seconds. Inadvertently, her hand went up and she delicately touched her lips…remembering the lingering kiss. Tonya’s voice came from the inside of the apartment, ruining the moment. With a heavy sigh and a confused expression Dana got back inside. She closed the door and headed back to the bedroom.
Tonya started kissing her on the neck and pushed her on the bed while taking her own clothes and Dana’s off.
« Let me show to my wife to be how much I love her. » Tonya whispered in between two sloppy wet kisses.
Dana was taken aback. She didn’t feel like having sex right now, the memories of the kiss she had just shared with Alice kept coming back. But Tonya, too focused on kissing her, her hands roaming over Dana’s body, didn’t notice her lack of reaction. She tried to concentrate on Tonya and forget about Alice but after some time she realised she couldn’t and gave up altogether. She could still feel Alice’s soft lips on hers, and she lost herself in the sensation, until her partner, with her loud grunts and her not so gentle ministrations brought her back to reality. A rather disappointing reality Dana thought. Tonya’s hands were cold, and her lips rough, unable to make passion rise in Dana’s body. It just moved like a disarticulated puppet. She came mechanically, giving in to Tonya’s stubbornness. But her thoughts weren’t focused on the woman lying next to her.

Sia : Breathe Me
When Alice realised what Tina was trying to tell her by writing on the board, all she could do was take her in her arms and let her cry. Hugging her as hard as she could, leaving the line Tina had started to draw between Bette and Candace unfinished, in abeyance, like a threat lingering above both their heads. Tina’s despair and sadness made every thought of her short visit to Dana vanish. It couldn’t be possible, how could Bette have done such a thing?
After some time, the sobs started to space out. She led Tina to her bed, lying down with her, placing Tina’s head on her chest. She gently stroke her hair, whispering soothingly: « Shhhhhh », as if she were holding a little baby in her arms. Tina was fragile at this moment, like an innocent child who had just discovered the world wasn’t as it seemed. Both soon fell asleep, the events of the day getting the better of them.
