Tina was again looking forward to family night. A week had passed since she issued her ultimatum and she prayed that Bette had the good sense to acquiesce to her demands. She laughed to herself since when did Bette acquiesce to anything. It was more likely that she would erupt in a dazzling display of fireworks before anything got settled. She was happy that the showdown would be here at her place it gave her a minimal advantage.
She had done a lot of thinking over the past week, the past several months in fact and knew with certainty that she had made the right decision to come clean with Bette. She had hurt her so much and she wanted to make amends. She wanted Angelica to have both her mothers full time. They had been blessed with a miracle and the greatest gift they could give her and each other was to be a family.
Tina knew that even if Angelica did not exist she would still want Bette, need Bette like she had no other. It was the power of her love, their love that would not let her give up or let go. Tina knew in the deepest part of her heart that there would never be another who could own her soul the way that Bette did.
The doorbell rang and Tina went to answer her destiny.
“Hey.” She greeted Bette with a brief kiss on her lips. The brunette was tense and it radiated off her in waves. She reached out and drew her in before she could bolt. The initial exchange over Bette reverted to her alpha self and shook off Tina’s caress.
“Hi.” Bette looked around the living room. “Angie is not here yet?”
“No. Angus called to say that the play date at Craig’s ran over about a half hour. She should be here in about twenty minutes.”
She saw Bette instinctively survey her from head to toe. Tina was still dressed in her power clothes and could see the approval that Bette would not voice. Hiding a smile she walked towards the kitchen. “Want to snooper vise supper?” She threw a glance back at Bette who had been watching her legs as she walked.

This was too short. I agree with Bette about Tina flip flopping. Time for Tina to step up to the plate or go home. So far I’m not convinced she not just trying to manipulate Bette to get her back and I think that what bothers me the most. I agree, that with Ro it all about loving Bette. With Tina, sure she loves Bette, but it how she demonstrates that love is disturbing.
A little more “T” time please.
OMG, this is just torture, these short posts kill me, but if you post often then all is forgiven…I’m totally hooked, and can see that Bette won’t make it easy, nor should she. Very few people can stay or come back and do the hard work of working thru the relationship. All too often the new and less baggage version is chosen….hmmmm what will Bette do??? You previous had them apart…so maybe your predisposed to that?????
Dog gone it…the woman made a mistake and admitted it (just like Bette did in Season 1). She wants her woman back (just like Bette in Season 2). How would you have Tina try to get Bette back…what is meant by having her (Tina) step up to the plate or go home? Do we want to see Tina try to outdo Rosanna sexually? Is it appropriate for Tina to jump Bette’s bones at this time…would this be stepping up to the plate?….forgive me Probie, I’m just a frustrated TiBetter who thinks Tina is about to lose her woman. kelika, where did you say that oxygen was?

Oh Kelika, why do you keep pinching my nipples with these short posts? I was on the verge of breathing in a paragraph and wham! I see it’s over. I meant the ship that has Ro’s hurt feelings as a passenger. It’s off in the distance, can’t make it out anymore. Anyway, this chapter: Tina does flip-flop, but I think she’s done with that now. Please stop teasing me with these short chapters when the plot is getting interesting. I am glad Tina is willing to keep a level head so she can win Bette over. Hang in there Tina, I am rooting for you!
Yes, Tina has “flip-floped” but it has not been out of mallus, but confusion and hurt. I think that both she and Bette have grown though their experiences with each other and she is serious about wanting and needing Bette back. I support her and think that she should FIGHT with all that she has for Bette and Bette should be able to appreicate that. They have lived though a lot with each other and Ro relizes this as she has done the same with Theresa. Ro maye surprised at what she might find if she opens her heart to Kate. While she says that she has resolved things with Theresa, she has to be mindful of Kate. How is she going to deal with her dear friend?
Hey Kelika, That was awesome. I love the fact the your Tina is prepared to fight for Bette and take her from Rosanna. This is the Tina I wanna see on the show. Full of determination and demanding her life back. While I can appreciate Bette’s reluctance I think that Tina just needs to hang on in there and show Bette how much she loves her and what she is willing to do to get their live and love back. Bravo for another wondrous chapter. Thank you so much for continuing this brilliant tale. Your Loyal Fan.
