CHAPTER 83
Tina was explaining to Bette what Kit had told her last night in regards to the female sperm…
The Dean was sitting shocked but excited as she took in the incredible possibility that her and Tina could potentially have a biological child together…
“So Scientists have got ethical permission and are now carrying out tests to produce synthetic sperm cells from a woman’s bone marrow tissue after showing that it is possible to produce rudimentary sperm cells from male bone-marrow tissue…
The researchers said the tests being carried out right now are proving bone-marrow tissue from women coax the stem cells within the female tissue and develop into sperm cells! –Which basically means a woman can impregnate another woman using female ‘sperm’!”
“That’s unreal! “ Bette said in amazement…
“It is!…Who would have thought we have sperm in our bone marrow?”
“A women’s body is utterly amazing” The Dean said in awe…
“Especially my woman’s…” Said Tina with a wink and a killer smile…
“So what’s the catch with this procedure?…I mean there has to be a catch?” Bette asked warily…
“Well…Creating sperm from a women means that only a daughter can be produced…Because the Y chromosome of male sperm would obviously still be needed to produce a son…” Tina replied
“Okay…” Bette said nodding her understanding…
Tina continued…
“…The latest research and tests has successfully shown it is possible to have a female-only conception…In a nutshell babe…You, and I could have our own child produced by our mutual genes – How incredible is that thought?!!” The blonde asked with a grin…
Bette returned the grin and shook her head in wonder, trying to get everything she had just been told clear in her head…
“So basically what your saying is the sperm would be extracted from you and used to fertilize an egg?
“Yes” The blonde replied
“And then I’m assuming the insemination method would be using a vial…Like we did when we were trying to conceive before?
“Yep…But obviously just like previously the sperm would have to be checked out to make sure it can do its job so to speak…”

British scientists claim to have created sperm from stem cells from female bone marrow
British scientists claim to have created sperm from stem cells from female bone marrow – paving the way for the end of the need of the father in reproduction.
The experience has been developed by experts at the University of New Castle, in April last year, announced that they had managed to turn stem cells from bone marrow of adult males in immature sperm.
In an interview with the latest issue of New Scientist magazine, Karim Nayernia, one of the researchers involved in the study, said that scientists now repeated the experiment with stem cells from the bone marrow of women, can “pave the way for the creation of female sperm”.
In work not yet published, Nayernia told New Scientist hoping to be “ethical” permission from the university to continue the work, which consists in submitting to the early meiosis, a process that would allow the maturation of sperm sperm, making it fit for fertilization.
“In principle, I believe it is scientifically possible,” said Nayernia.
The study says the magazine, could allow a day lesbian couples can have children without a man, as a woman of the sperm could fertilize the egg of another.
BRAZIL
The New Scientist also reports an experiment that is being conducted by Brazilian scientists at the Butantan Institute in Sao Paulo.
According to the magazine, the experts were developing eggs and sperm from a culture of embryonic stem cells from male rats.
The magazine cites the work published by Brazilians in the journal Cloning and Stem Cells (Cloning and stem cells, in literal translation), in which the researchers said not yet proven that the male eggs can be fertilized and procreate.
“We are now beginning experiments with human embryonic stem céulas and, if successful, the next step is to see if male eggs can be made from other cells,” said lead researcher, Irina Kerkis.
These other cells that behave in a similar manner to embryonic, could be found in human skin, said magazine.
This would open the possibility for gay male couples also have children with 100% of their genetic material.

In this case, one of the men donate their skin cells, which would be transformed into an egg to be fertilized by the sperm of the partner.
Once a fertilized, the egg would be implanted in the uterus of a woman.
“I believe this is possible, but do not know how people would view it ethically,” said Kerkis.
