“No! – Not at all!!…It’s just…Its just…Oh it doesn’t matter…”

“Talk to me babe…What’s going on in that pretty head of yours?” Tina asked…

“It’s silly I know…B-But what if a b-baby screws things up for us? – When we tried last time…Um…It s-seemed to put a lot of strain on our relationship….I mean I…I didn’t handle the whole thing very well did I?…”

“Pull over somewhere baby…Let’s talk about this?”

“T-Tina..I…I’m sorry…”

“Bette pull over at that park over there?…Please?”

“Okay…”

Bette stopped the car and parked up…The two women went over and sat on one of the park benches…

“Now…Answer me honestly honey…Do you think we are ready for another child?- Do you really want another child Bette?…Tell me the truth sweetie…”

“Yes! Very much so!!…I’m just s-scared that we are putting pressure on ourselves to conceive before we get married…W-What if this procedure doesn’t take Tee? What if we get so wrapped up in getting pregnant that it takes over our lives…?”

“That wont happen baby!…If we are pregnant before we get married that will be great, but if were not we can just keep trying…I’m pretty sure we’ll have loads of fun attempting too…” The blonde said raising an eyebrow mischievously…

Bette laughed softly and took her blonde lovers hand..

“So you won’t be too disappointed if this procedure does not work?”

“Baby I wont deny it…The thought of you having MY baby excites me to levels I cannot describe…But if it doesn’t work?- We’ll we still have other options!! -Like Marcus’s sperm, or even adoption? But baby know this…As much as I was elated when you stated you wanted another child with me…I’m so happy with just you, me and Angie! – I’m so grateful for the family we already have…And if we add to it great!! -But if we don’t? I don’t mind…I’m so in love with you Bette I feel like this time around we could fight Goliath and win…We are so strong together…I can’t speak for you…But I can tell you the way I feel! –Bette…For me these past few months have been amazing!…More wonderful than I ever imagined!…I am more in love with you than I ever thought possible, and I enjoy every single moment I spend with you baby..”

“I feel the same way Tee…I love the relationship we have built up…I love this…The way we can communicate our feelings instead of doing what we used to and bottling them up rather than saying what was on our mind…I love our baby…I love our life…But I’m so scared…I’m keep waiting for the bad stuff to happen…Everything is just so perfect…Its surreal…”

“Oh Bette…Nothing bad is gonna happen sweetie…And if it does?…We’ll face it together okay? – Because I’m going no where…I know what it was like to be without you, and I hated it!…I thank the lord every day for bringing us back together…And if he blesses us with another child I will love it like I love you and Angie…But if he doesn’t?..Well that’s okay also…Because I have two wonderful girls that I love with all my heart…I feel so blessed…”

“I love you..” Bette said with tears streaming down her face…

Tina wiped them…She smiled softly, then kissed her girl and replied

“I love you more than you’ll ever realize Bette Porter…”

The girls embraced warmly….then kissed…A slow tender kiss…Full of love and gentleness…

After a while the couple walked back towards their car…

Bette waved at a man who was getting into his car…

The man looked at her a little perplexed…He couldn’t place the brunette…But he did notice she was very attractive…

He walked over to the Dean and said “Sorry, do you know me?”

“Yes…I think you’re the father of one of my kids?” Bette replied calmly..

“What!!?..” The man said in a stunned tone…His mind whirred back to the only time he had ever been unfaithful to his wife…and he said sheepishly…

“Oh my god!! Are you the stripper from that bachelor party I went to?…Oh Jesus I was so drunk!…I’m so sorry..”

Bette looked directly into his eyes and said with an amused smile…

“No, I’m your son’s teacher”

Tina couldn’t help herself…She burst out laughing….The embarrassed look on the man’s face was priceless…
