CHAPTER 92
“Well ladies…You’ll both be happy to know they appear to be very healthy and active.” Dr Wilson replied
“So it’s the green light then doc?” Tina asked enthusiastically
“Yes Tina…You two can go ahead and attempt to conceive your second child..” The medic replied with a laugh…
“Oh God!!…That’s…That’s so fantastic!….” Tina’s voice trailed off, as tears filled her eyes…and she instantly felt a huge lump of emotion constrict her throat…
“Hey…What’s wrong babe? This is great news!” Bette stated…Slightly confused, and concerned as she grasped Tina’s waist more firmly and pulled her towards her…Wanting to soothe her hurt…She never could bear to see her girl cry…
“I know…It’s the best news!…I-I’m just being silly…I-I can’t…I mean you may…You could really end up carrying m-my child…It…It could come t-true!..” Tina sobbed as the reality of the opportunity they had been given overwhelmed her
The blonde was completely overcome with emotion…
Until this moment Tina had never really ‘believed’ this crazy idea could actually become a reality…
She started to really sob…Bette put her arms around her…She caressed her woman’s back tenderly as she kissed her forehead in comfort as she softly said…
“It’s gonna happen baby…”
“I’ll leave you two alone for awhile okay…I know when I should make a discreet exit..”
“Thanks Dr Wilson…For Everything..”
“T-Thanks “ Tina said also as she wiped her streaming eyes and smiled up at the medic through her tears…
“You both are so welcome…I truly hope it works out for you both…And when you are ready, get the receptionist to page me and I will give you all the documentation for the extractions we have taken – You will be able to pick them up whenever you need them…They have been deposited at the cryobank…The same one you used last time…”
“Thanks Dr Wilson” Both women said in unison…
After the doctor left..
“Your such a big softie Tee…”
“I j-just can’t believe this might actually happen!..”
“Well believe it!…” Bette said tilting her girls chin upwards then kissing her nose softly…
Making Tina sniff then smile softly akin to the way a small child does…
“I’m gonna get all fat, irate and hormonal!!…”
“And I’m gonna love you even more than I do already!…I’m gonna take real good care of you Bette…I’m going to love and protect you…I’ll be there for you, all the way…”
