    Bette slowly moved to stand up. She looked down at the distressed blonde and pointed to the front door. ”I want you to leave now and move on without me. It’s better this way, for the both of us.” Tina jumped off the sofa to stand right in Bette’s face. ”I am not going anywhere.

    Bette slowly moved to stand up. She looked down at the distressed blonde and pointed to the front door. ”I want you to leave now and move on without me. It’s better this way, for the both of us.”

    Tina jumped off the sofa to stand right in Bette’s face. ”I am not going anywhere. I’m here to stay. And this is final.”

    Bette’s nostrils flared with anger. She grabbed Tina by her shoulders roughly and spoke with the clenched jaw, ”Enough of this spectacle! Why don’t you fucking understand that I’m doing this, because I know better, because I know what might happen if we stay together! I’m doing this for your fucking sake, Tina!”

    ”But I don’t want that!” Tina cried out, tears now working their way across her mascara, falling down her cheeks like a river. ”God, Bette, please let me stay with you… I would never forgive myself for leaving you…” the blonde wept bitterly.

    ”And I would never forgive myself if anything happens to you! That would me the end of me, don’t you get it?! All I have left in this world is you, and if something happens to you I’ll–” Bette’s voice broke as her lips began to tremble. ”In no way am I going to survive that, Tina…”

    ”I can’t leave you like this, I just can’t…” Tina sniffled on Bette’s shoulder, hugging her to herself with all her might, fearful of letting go. She looked up into the mirror that were Bette’s eyes, full of pain and sorrow. ”Tell me again that you don’t love me… Tell me that you want me to disappear out of your life for good…”

    After a moment or two of fighting with herself, the brunette finally surrendered. She collapsed into Tina’s unusually strong embrace and sobbed her heart out.

    ”That’s it, baby…” Tina crooned close to Bette’s ear, stroking her hair tenderly. ”I’m not going anywhere, we are going to make it through this together,” she reassured not only Bette, but also herself.

    She then guided the broken woman to the bed and put her down, scooting closer to her and taking her into her arms.

    ”Shh… I’m here for you, baby,” Tina murmured, closing her eyes. ”I’ll always be.”

    1. Oh my God, you are back with this incredible story! I am so happy I could dance, but that is something nobody wants to see :-).

      I was ready to go to bed after my late shift but I recieved a notification that you posted a chapter and I do nog regret for one second to read it.

      Tina is very positive and optimistic that everything will work out, I am not so sure about it, but i really hope and pray that it will be.
