I’ll Never Let You Go: Chapter 3

    Previously…

Ed heard her but he didn’t look back. He was so hurt by what she said and he felt that her job was more important than him and the baby.  Later that evening when Bette entered the bedroom, he was lying in bed facing the wall so she didn’t know if he was still awake or already sleeping.

“Honey I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to be angry, I want you to know that you and the baby are the most important things in my life. But you also need to understand that my work is important to me as well” Bette said while crying

Ed sighed heavily and turned to look at his wife “Honey I’m so sorry too for pressuring you. I know that you love me and our little guy and I’m fully aware how you value your job. I trust you that you won’t put our baby at risk… I love you…”

Bette smiled and said “I love you too…”

The beautiful brunette was about to say sorry again but she was stopped when Ed crashed his lips on hers.  The kiss spoke volume of how much love and trust that they have for one another. They made love that night, proclaiming their hunger and passion for each other…

    Chapter 3

Tina just got into her apartment after a long day at the office. She was so exhausted at the same time famished, she decided to take a shower first then she ordered her favorite chinese food. It was a tiring day not only physically but more on mentally. As she was lying on the bed, she thought about the things that had happened that day.

The meeting with Stanley Smith went smoothly. They were supposed to meet at her office but his personal assistant called and informed that he was not in the mood to go out and would much prefer to talk about the case in his house, which she obliged. He was so charming and he even tried to hit on Tina several times but she politely declined his advances and told him that it was not wise for them to have any kind of relationship other than a professional one. Stanley agreed and they both went down to business. He answered all the questions that Tina has asked of him and he provided all the information that she needed to know about the true nature of Stanley’s previous relationship with his ex-girlfriend.

    1. Loved the update but I have a suggestion: Maybe you should use more white lines? Let your text ‘breath a little’ it’s easier to read that way and it looks better in my opinion. I loved it. PPS
