    Tina’s relaxing day begins…..

    Chapter 26
    Tina enters Kelly’s bathroom, her mouth drops open and she covers it with the hand that Bette wasn’t holding, as tears flow from her eyes.  She has always loved Kelly’s large bathroom with it’s claw foot tub.  But this morning it was like she has never seen before.  The large tub was filled with bubbles, there was just about every house plant that they own placed all around the bathroom, on the counter, on the floor, there were white candles of various sizes lighting up the space, next to the tub there was a serving tray filled with bite sized pieces of fruit, toast, juice and coffee, there was soft jazz music playing and the scents that filled the air were meant to calm the soul.  Bette stands there a just letting Tina have her break down moment.  As Tina continues to cry Bette gently rubs Tina’s back.
    Still crying “Oh my God Bette this is so beautiful.  I don’t deserve this.”
    “Well, I and your room mates think you do.”
    “Sorry that I’m crying so much.”
    “Tina that’s from all the stress that you’ve been under.  I know it all too well. You have been running on adrenaline and caffeine, you were bound to crash and burn. “  Tina cries even more “Go ahead and get it out.  A friend did something like this for me after I put on my first show.  I was a mess for two days.  I couldn’t do anything but sleep and cry, I thought that I had fallen into depression.  I didn’t realize it was from the adrenaline crash until a friend came by and scooped me up and pampered me back to sanity.”
    “I’m not this special.” cries Tina looking around the bathroom.
    “Yes you are, I and your room mates think so.  Hey I‘m going to leave you to yourself for a while to relax in the tub and munch on some fruit.” says Bette motioning to the tray. ”And the coffee it’s decaf of course.  I‘ll give you some time to yourself and I‘ll come back and wash your hair” Bette says as she lightly takes hold of Tina’s pony tail.
    Tina wipes her tears shakes her head yes.  She then hugs Bette’s neck buries her face there and cries. “Bette, thank you.”  Bette stands there embracing Tina and let’s her cry until she feels her calm down after about a minute.
