“Is this what you really want? Is to leave me and then you’ll be miserable. You know that all you have is me. I’m the one who will be here in the end for you. What do you want me to say?” Alice ran her fingers through her soaked hair. She looked at Dana, eyes full with tears.

“Sorry. I want you to say I’m sorry that’s all I want from you.”

“Is that what you want to hear from me? I’m sorry.” Dana walked away from Alice and out into the street. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry that I’m treating wrong! I’m sorry that I choose you over my career! I’m sorry that I’m not being a great girlfriend!” Alice watched Dana swing her arms around while standing in the rain. Dana walked back over to Alice. “I’m sorry that you feel like I’m ignoring. I love you Alice Pieszecki. I love you with all my heart and soul.” Dana dropped to her knees.

“If  this what you want from me, and then I’ll give you my all. I love you Al, I don’t want anything else in the world right now, but you by my side. I need you in my life Alice. If I lost you, I would die. You’re the most beautiful thing that every happen to me. I want youI need you” Dana dropped her head, and the tears begin to fall. Alice got down on her knees and lift Dana’s head up.

“Dana” Dana doesn’t look at Alice and shake her head. “Please look at me.” Dana finally looked up, strands of her hair stuck to her face. Alice lifts her hand and pushed them back. Alice observed her face, watching the rain drops drip down her sorrowful face.

“Please don’t leave. I beg of you, don’t do this.” Alice put her head against Dana’s and kissed her softly.

“I will never leave you.” Dana smiled and closes her eyes. She laughed softly and wrapped her arms around Alice.

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”

 They got off the wet ground, and they went back into the house. They didn’t say a word to each other. They make it to the bedroom and laid down on the bed. They didn’t care about their soaked clothes. They laid there and stared into each other’s eyes. They intertwine the hands and shared sweet kisses. Dana wrapped her arms around Alice and held her closely.

“Promise me you’ll never leave.” Alice smiled and held Dana tight.

“I’ll never leaveI promise.”
