Chapter 17

Four weeks later:
Tina was in the bathroom, doing her morning routine, getting a shower and putting on her make-up. She suddenly realizes that she hasnt gotten her period, she shouldve ad it last week.
Oh my She thinks to herself while she begins to laugh nervously. She stops everything shes doing and calls out for Bette.
Bette, come here. She says.
What? Bette replies walking into the bathroom and stops in front of Tina looking in her eyes.
I havent gotten my period, I just realized that I shouldve had it last week. Tina says putting her arms around Bettes waist.
You mean? Bette says, as a huge grin appears on her face.
I dont know, Ill take a test, I have some from last time. Tina says and runs into the bedroom and gets one from her closet, and rushes back to the bathroom where Bette stands a bit shocked, but in a good way.
Tina opens it and takes a seat on the toilet and pees on it and then they have to wait for about five minutes. They place the test-stick on the sink, and then they go out and into the bedroom and take a seat on the bed.
They hold each others hands and just looks at each other smiling, neither of them saying a word. The minutes are passing, both their hands is wet from nervousness. Bette is looking at her watch, it says five minutes, Bette stands up still holding on to Tinas hand. They walk into the bathroom again. You look at it. Tina says.
Bette let go of Tinas hand and slowly walks over to the sink.
She picks it up, her back to Tina, she looks at it and a huge smile is uncovered as she turns towards Tina, who immediately realizes that the test is positive. She almost falls to the floor, her legs buckle, but Bette is quick on her feet and catches Tina.
Bette places a soft kiss on Tinas lips I love you She says as she continues to kiss Tina and every once in a while, while shes up for air, she says I love you. Tina is now a big smile. Tears of joy are dripping from her eyes. After several minutes of kissing, Bette breaks away and looks into Tinas eyes. She wipes away some of the tears.
Were going to have our baby. Tina is able to say.
Yes, we are. Our very own family. Bette says as she also is getting teary. Tina is still crying happy tears. Bette pulls Tina into a hug.
