Chapter 57
Both Tina and Angelica fell asleep and Bette watches them for a little while before she walks quietly out of the bedroom and into the kitchen and starts cleaning up around the house. After an hour, she walks back to the bedroom to check in on her babies. There she finds Angelica awake and talking to herself. She lifts her up.
“You’re awake, let’s not wake mommy.” Bette says as she silently walks out of the bedroom and closes the door. She lay Angie down on her play mat and walks into the kitchen and fills up her bottle with water. She walks back and takes a seat next to Angie on the floor and keeps her company. Angie turns around and is able to crab over to Bette and into her lap.
“You’re so good. Yes you are. Do you want some water?” Bette asks, holding up the bottle to Angie. Angie nods her head up and down and reach for the bottle.
“Okay. Here you go.” Bette says and gives it to her. Angie then settles into Bette’s lap, resting against her chest. Bette leans against the pole between the living room and the dining room. Angie doesn’t drink much, she sets the bottle down and reach up her arms to Bette’ face. Bette lift her up and turn her around. She’s now standing in Bette’s lap. She gets fascinated by Bette’s necklace, which is a medium sized, blue, round stone. After a minute or two, she’s finished with that and moves along to Bette’s face and hair. Bette makes faces and Angelica giggles and laughs. She’s having a great time with her mama.
Half an hour later, Tina calls from the bedroom.
“Bette?” Tina says.
“Yeah, baby.” Bette replies, walking in with Angie in her arms.
“I’m a little dizzy, could you help me to the bathroom?” Tina asks.
“Sure, just let me put her into her crib.” Bette says and set Angelica down in her crib.
“You stay here, while I help mommy.” Bette says and kisses Angie on her head and walks back to Tina.
“It’s passing, but not gone yet.” Tina says as Bette takes her arm to steady her wife. “I’ll be glad when this is over.” Tina adds.

Im really happy that you are updating this story that i love so much!. Must be hard for Tina to stay in bed for a month..but she will survive hehe And its really cool that its a boy!. Continue soon :)
Silent reader here. I have enjoyed this story very much. In all honesty, what was wrong with the word slave? I am sure you did not mean it the way it sounds and after reading it it was not intended that way. There are far more worse things than the word “slave.” People need to chill. And you know is it the word or that it was said to a black person? Would have been okay to say it if a white person said? Post soon!
People are so sensitive but you might use the word “go-fer”. As in I’ll be you “go-fer”. Go-fer water, go-fer snacks etc.
I don’t even remember anyone saying Bette was to be Tina’s slave. I went back and saw where Bette said she’d be Tina’s slave. “Mammy” could be taken the wrong way too but Angelica doesn’t know any better. Actually that made me think of when I was little and my dad was helping me wrap a Christmas present for my mom. I was filling out the gift tag and put “mammy” instead of “mommy” and we both had a good laugh about it. I won’t say people need to chill though. I mean, I personally don’t like being called a lesbo but someone else might not care. Anyway, cute chapter and I almost teared up when Bette was cleaning Angelica.
This is so nice to have them interact the way that they are. Angelica is stealing the show here with her speech and actions. Post when you can.

BTW – nothing wrong with the word ‘slave’ the way you used it, in my opinion.
