    Tina and Bette: The beginning of the end, before the beginning. (Okay this is my first try, so don’t stone me :) )

    In the Begining- Form As In a Work Of Art Chapters 1 & 2

    Chapter 1

    Sunday evening at Tina’s Apartment

    ‘There has got to be more than this’ Tina thought as she laid in bed. She looked at Eric as he got dressed. They had just made love, well he would call it that but she would say they just fucked. The sex was okay but she felt that there was something missing. Yeah, she had an orgasm, but in her heart she felt disconnected somehow. She and Eric had been together for a little over a year and it still didn’t feel quite right. He was kind, thoughtful yet very driven. They shared very little in common. But she loved being on his arm as he was invited quite often to social events in the Los Angeles area. This comforted her being new to Los Angeles. They were each other’s stand in dates. She really wouldn’t call in a real relationship. It was just easier than being alone.

    “Honey, I have in invitation to an opening of art exhibit this Friday night. Are you free?” Eric says as he put on his last shoe and leans to kiss her. “ I would love to have a beautiful gal on my arm.”

    “This Friday?” She pauses, “Let me look at my planner before I commit. You know they are always changing things on me last minute. But if I’m free I would love to go. It would give me a chance to do a bit of networking while you search for the perfect piece.” she sits up in bed and reaches over to the nightstand for her planner.

    “I found the perfect piece when I found you.” Eric smiles, and places a light kiss on Tina’s lips and rubbing her bare back.

    “How sweet” Tina smiles
    ’Yeah right, perfect piece of ass’ she thought

    “Well looking at my planner as of this moment it looks as if I’m free to hang on your arm this Friday. But you know if anything changes and it’s prone, to with my job, I’ll let you know as soon as I know. “ Tina says as she kisses him back. She always told him that things were subject to change with her job schedule, this was always her way out of doing things she really didn’t want to do.

    6. Ahh, well I was looking forward to this post and was MORE than happy to have read it!!! Kim, you have done a fine job building this storyline and bringing it to…er…QUITE a climax! Hee Hee. I’d VERY much like to read more of your creativity. Thanks once more for sharing your talent with all of us readers. ;- )

    9. Well I am still learning how to use this darn editor them use to post stories. It’s a bit confusing so some of you probably read an imcomplete story. When I “saved” it I thought it “just saved it” but it posted the next chapter I was starting to write when I went to save it. I don’t want to put anything out there unfinished, so I deleted it. I’ll try cutting and pasting again. I had lot of trouble with that earlier. That’s why you got two chapters in one. These darn computers, don’t you just love them?

    12. Well Journey, if this was your first attempt, you did one hell of a job. Your writing is good and your take on the beginning of their relationaship is interesting. I’ll enjoy seeing where you’ll take us on that 7 year journey.

    16. Okay, I got the kinks out of trying to post in the future. I had a mch easier time posting hte 3rd chapter. But sometimes I might put a little “kinky” in the story lines. I have a few ideas running through my head for Bette’s dream. I’m looking forward to writing it.

    19. Wow, ten years ago. I surprised myself writing these stories. Sure takes a lot of time. One day I may be inspired again and have time at the same time. :) So far the new series Generation Q hasn’t inspired me to fill in the gaps or come up with alternative storylines. One day.
