“I want to talk about your childhood,” said Dr Kennard, beginning the second of their twice-weekly sessions, “tell me about your mother,”

Helena uncrossed her legs and lay down the packet of Marlboro upon the table, an odd salubrious smile on her face,

    “She’s an actress …”

“I thought your mother was in business?” Dr Kennard replied, confused,

“I didn’t say it was her job …” Helena remarked.

Bette hit the speed dial on her cell and waited for it to connect her through to James,

    “Bette Porter Gallery, James speaking,”

“James … it’s Bette,” she said quietly, batting off Helena’s hands as she pulled at the sash around her middle that held the entire business-like, elegant wrap-around dress together, she signalled for Helena to quit it with her eyes, “um … I’m not feeling well …” Bette faked, coughing a little and clearing her throat,

“Oh,” James paused for a second, unsure of what to do, in the six months he worked for Bette he’d never once known her to complain of even a slight headache, “er … sorry to hear that,” he mumbled, “should I try to rearrange all your meetings?”

“Please,” Bette answered him quickly, remembering something her father, the lawyer, once told her that all the best lies were kept short, “I’ll be in touch with you later,” she added, “call me on my cell if there are any problems,”

Helena clapped her hands slowly as Bette hung up the phone,

“Stop it,” Bette mumbled, needing just a moment, “I just called in sick for work for the first time … ever!”

Helena smiled and stepper closer to her again, sliding her hands onto Bette’s hips and feeling the softness of her skin through the sheer fabric, “Feels good, doesn’t it?” she teased, “feels naughty …?”

Bette kept a stone face, unsure. Helena began kissing her along the line of her jaw, laying tiny kisses and nips onto the skin above her collarbone and up the long length of her neck,

“Mmn …” Bette sighed, “yeah … feels good.”

For a second she pulled back, and stared at the woman whose eyes danced green and dark like shimmering emeralds at the bottom of the sea,

    1. OooOOOOOo HELENA!!!! Okay, you nailed that one Sofa. The therapist whose patients ends up with a crush. Uh huh. Nuff said. *blushing* Er…anyway, once again you provided a SMOKING HOT chapter. I can see why you needed a bucket of cold stuff. Got room for me own head? LOL!!! This line….””Fuck …” Bette exhaled, craning herself up onto her elbows to take a better look.” THAT IS SOOOOO explicitly true and typical. So true to life girl. Loving every minute of it! Thanks. * waving to Hele* Oh BTW, your questions to her in the Spotlight…*high fives Sofa* VERY VERY good, and so cute to see those occasional bashful responses. HEE HEE

    2. up to now, been a silent reader on this one, cuz i assumed it was going the Belena route & i just don’t know what to say about them, even though i have found this story interesting….some people say they know where you’re going with this, i’ll admit i haven’t the foggiest, but am enjoying the ride even if i sometimes have a confused look on my face ;) oh and this was just….thud, SO hot – based on your description, i had the image of bette in that black dress from s4 at the awful mixer party, i don’t think the dress she was in was a wrap style, but it looked like it should have been….anyway Thx & PPS

    3. As today is the day, I doubt you’ll get RS here by midnight-they’ve gotten rather picky about those sonic booms. I’m so old I can recall we all thought sonic booms were cool. But then I’m also old enough not to be too concerned about the particular day. Whenever you can get her here will be fine. Or JB, that would be a nice present, too. Or RS AND JB-best of all! And when that day comes, I promise I won’t get all thinky. Helena certainly showed Bette the benefits of leaving thinky behind.

    4. ONFG U out did yourself there…and Helena has thoughts about Dr ‘fuck me heels’ Kennard…oh wow…I’m totally sure Helena won’t resist that temptation!!!…bring it on!!!!!

    5. Wow, that was hotter than hot! Smoking! Yeah, you’re making my day for a 6th day running and with an nc-17 too! you’re spoiling me like hell and I like it ;-) PPS!

    6. Adorable as Helena may be…she might be bad business for Bette…this is the second time she has ditched work for Helena….but then again I would rather be lying of my back getting pleased by a beautiful brit then going to work.:)

    7. Hey Sofa…you would be trying to slip a Belena story past me…would you? All these questions are starting to give me a headache. Throw me a bone…give me a hint…anything?????

    8. HOT, HOT, HOT! I’m still trying to piece this together and figure out Helena’s disfunction, the sadness and self destructive bahavior. I’m no fan of Belena but this was…. wow!

    9. Holy effing sh*t! I wasn’t expecting that! (Not that I’m complaining…heheh) But I still wanna know what’s wrong with Hel. Questions, questions, questions! I’m keeping my theories to myself tho…as something tells me…I’ll never figure it out. But right now she has a very irritating case of disappearingitis. Poor little rich girl. Sigh. You said in the beginning…10 chapters…um…I don’t believe you. Just please don’t abandon this story! Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Gawwwwwwwwd, couch! You’re driving me crazy…I’m gonna end up on Dr. K’s sofa before this is all over pfffffft :P

    10. Funnyone is being rather selfish, she cant RS those green eyes are my weakness. she can have Jb. Hey that was very very good. The first time Bette has ever missed work. It still in the 80here so a cold shower, know one will know why. thanks

    11. OMFG….Ok Sofa. I said I didn’t have time to read. Nope I don’t. But what did I do speed read through this story and WOAH!!!!! Ok… I am dying to get my work done so i can savor your work. Thanks for giving me the motivation to get my work done. What a nice reward this story will be.

    12. You’ve left me a bit light-headed, sofa! Your NC-17s are always hot, but also so well-written and sensual. This story intrigues me because I have no idea where it’s going…. I’m just hangin’ on and looking out for Dr. Kennard.

    13. that was delicious…and heartwrenching in a way, how intimate and yet far away they can be in this story. i worry for their little breakable hearts, and i don’t make demands of your genius dear, so the story shall go where it needs to. beautifully written…i’ll admit, my jaw fell more than once–ok, thoughout that entire second page, my mouth was opened slightly. i think i bit my tongue at one point by accident. you are, the most, most, most exquisite writer. among other things;) i desperately want the next three weeks to fly by so that you can rehearse this amazingly written scenes on a live…*ahem*…heh…back to the story. i love that i don’t know where this is going that it doesn’t follow the bullsh** conventions of the show, that it breaks so many boundaries. brilliant. want more;) xoxoxo babe

    14. helena:”my psychiatrist is pretty hot…” i second that…and sometimes i imagine her without panties, too. lol. great chappy but im wondering abt the hottie heels too

    15. geeeeezus, sofa!!!! I’m not one to comment too much but I just had to. That was sooooo freaking hot and intense. I mean, I actually cringed a few times reading that. Great, great post, you’re a superb writer. On to the next!
