Bette laughed and nudged her wife’s shoulder playfully before getting serious, she leaned forward and whispered in her ear, “It was four months before daddy and I talked, I was in the school cafeteria minding my own business and suddenly the doors opened and in walked a tall, slim blonde, she was smiling, talking to a bunch of girls from the building next to mine, it was the first time i saw her but something inside told me i had to approach her so i did, i said hello and it was then when she flashed her beautiful smile at me and I fell for her hazel eyes, I didn’t know what it was that i was feeling and didn’t understand the waves of jealousy that came over me when i saw her day after day in that same cafeteria smiling at all those girls that were always buy her side, they seemed like if they were joined to her by the hip and frankly, i hated it, i didn’t no why at the moment but i wanted every one of her smiles to be just for me”.

“And what happened with her?”

“I followed her around nearly every day, until one day i found the courage to ask and make her my girlfriend, five years after that she became my beautiful wife”

Bette moved away from her wife smiling and leaned against the chair, Tina had closed her eyes and was smiling so Bette took the opportunity to touch her face, leaned forward and whispered to her closed lips, “I love you T” she then planted a small quick kiss and placed her wife’s head on her chest, she pulled Tina towards her body and wrapped one arm around her waist keeping her close while using her other hand to play with her hair.

“I love you too babe” Tina  said while snuggling into her wife’s body.

They spent a long time just laying down talking about memories and remembering funny moments of their lives until Bette drifted off to sleep, all of a sudden they heard the front door being slammed shut, Bette jumped with the noise and Tina got up in an instant, she made her way to the front door ready to yell at the first one of her kids that she saw, lucky for her they were both there.
