Day after Family Night

Bette just arrived in her office and upon sitting at her desk she takes a look at the picture of her and Tina…She is in deep thought about the appointment on the 11th…Her thoughts are interupted when her cellphone starts ringing…

RING! RING!

Bette flips open her cellphone

Bette:Hello

Kit:Hey baby sis where have you been hiding?

Bette:Kit its only been 24 hours since the last time that I saw you…What makes you think that I’ve been hiding?

Kit:I guess because I know that you had your board meeting with Helena and I wanted to know well… How did it go?

Bette is silent…She can’t believe that Kit called her and spoke of Helena…Of all people Helena…Just thinking about Helena being with Tina makes Bette angry…The way she holds Tina…Them having *****…God just the thought of it is giving Bette a stomach ache…Tina is my wife and I mean mine and no one should even be allowed to touch her…(Bette’s thoughts are interupted by Kit)

Kit:Bette are you there?

Bette:Yes Kit I am here…(Bette sounds sad)

Kit:Are you ok baby sis?…What’s wrong?.. is it Tina?…Is it the baby?…What ‘s going on Bette?…

Bette:It’s nothing I mean I am fine…(Bette rubs her forhead knowing damn well that Kit is not going to buy this one)

Kit:Who do you think you are fooling?…Bette what’s going on spill it out?

Bette:Well Kit you are right it’s about Tina

Kit:Well what about Tina?

Bette:It’s just that when you spoke of Helena I automatically thought of her and Tina…I feel as though there is no chance with me and Tina…I mean Helena has her all wrapped you like a lion waiting for its prey…I feel as though I have lost hope in us…

Kit:Look Bette we already had this conversation about you and Tina…I told you that it was not going to be easy…Look you and Tina are solid and you both love each other very much…Why is it that when it comes to your work at the CAC you have everything planned just right but when it comes to Tina your mind is blank?…What you need to do is play your cards the way that you played them for those years before all of this mess and prove to her like you did before that it is possible to be together

Bette:Kit you are talking like it is easy…I mean she invited me to go to the hospital with her on the 11th for the ultrasound…It will be just Tina and I…I mean I hope that it is just Tina and I and not Helena…Oh I meant to tell you I was thinking about going back to therapy to see Dan Foxworthy

Kit:That is great news Bette…I like hearing and seeing you happy…One thing I must add is that yes Tina may be with Helena what ever her name is but remember this she loves you and only you Bette…***** it don’t take a blind person to see that…If you want Tina back you must find a way to help Tina remember why she fell in love with you and only you Bette…Sure we all make mistakes but it takes a real woman to understand that she made a mistake and go about fixing it the right way…Baby sis just take it a day at time you here…I have to go I have a meeting with Mr. Bradshaw and he is taking me out…(Kit is interupted by Bette)

Bette:Kit isn’t he married?…(Kit cuts Bette off)

Kit:Gotta go baby sis…Call me if you need me…(Kit hangs up the phone)

Bette closes her cellphone with the thought of Tina on her mind…Tina was polite to me at the planet…We had a nice flow going on…atleast I thought there was a flow…I have to find a solution to this…Only if she knew how bad I want her back…

Meanwhile at Helena’s House

Tina is in bed sleeping…she is awakened by Helena kissing her neck and rubbing her stomach

Tina:Wow as I said before this is a nice way to wake up in the morning

Helena:I am sure it is…(rubbing Tina’s stomach)I can’t wait to go with you to the hospiatl on the 11th

Tina begans to rub her head…She could have sworn that she told Helena that she was going with Bette…Was she not paying attention when I told her

Tina:Helena do you remember I told you that I was going with Bette

Helena:With Bette…(Helena’s facial expression went from happy to confused)

Tina:Yes with Bette…Why are you looking as though you are confused like you don’t know…Were you listening to me when I told you or were you acting like you were listening to me?

Helena:I was listening to you but I thought that since we were seeing each other and now kind of living with each other that maybe you would have changed your mind

Tina:You have got to be kidding right…(Tina knows where this is going and she is getting angry)

Helena:We are together right?…I mean like a couple?

Tina is in deep thought thinking of how Helena just assumed that she would let go of what she told Bette and go with her…***** this can’t be going like this…Not now and definitely on the 11th…Helena is trying to decide everything for Tina…If she isn’t trying to control me then what is she trying to do…Put your foot down Ms. Kennard…Think Autonomy

Tina:Yes Helena of course we are a couple

Helena:And couples do things together right?

Tina:Yes couples do things together Helena

Helena:Alright then that is why I say that I should be there on the 11th with you and not Bette

Tina:No Helena I told Bette that she could come with me on the 11th and I am not going to change that…This is Bette’s baby just as well as mine and I am not going to shed her a chance of seeing her child…I mean our child…Now even though Bette and I are not seeing each other does not mean that she cannot be there for our child…I respect your situation with Winnie and I am understanding when it comes to you both and I hope you would be the same for Bette and I

Helena doesn’t like what Tina has said one bit but she knows that Tina is right…The thought of Bette to Helena is enought to make her want to vomit herself…She knows that she has Tina and Tina is someone that Bette wants but can’t have because they are together

Helena:Ok Tina I understand…I’m sorry do you think that you can forgive me?(Helena starts kissing Tina from her neck down to her *****)

Tina:(Tina’s moans)Maybe but there is a penalty for you actions MS.Peabody

Helena:Is that right? Well how do I go about serving you for my penalty…
