    “Well my friend Emma is coming along – she is a lawyer. Melvin and I went to college with her you know “
    Helena managed to resist snorting with laughter – this was a plot by Rosemary and probably Emma Kennard to get their two daughters together. Helena looked at James who had also cottoned onto the implications of this nugget of information.
    “Oh – isn’t she the lesbian lawyer ?” Helena said innocently
    “Yes – Bette has spoken about her ?”
    “Yes – she was saying that she was a very handsome woman “
    “Oh she is – you should see her – that was quick Bette darling “ Rosemary suddenly changed what she had been going to say
    Helena and James exchanged amused looks.
    “Okay mom – sting me “
    “James – could you come and tell me about one of these pieces “
    “Certainly Helena “
    James and Helena moved out of earshot of Bette and Rosemary
    “I have heard a lot about this plot of Rosemary’s to get Bette together with Tina “ Helena said
    “Me too – don’t you think it might be nice if we told Bette that this was a plot ?”

    “I would love to see Bette trying to pretend to her folks that she isn’t crazy about Tina “

      I can see in this story James it’s male version of Alice. Not sure what Bette to do with Helena when she find out about her and James plot, but i can see James’s salary may be drastically reduced)

    3. It’s getting complicated if Helena and James start playing games with B + T as well. Great!
      Let’s see how both will plan their evening at the library now that Tina’s meeting with Rosemary worked out. It would be funny if their mothers introduced them, they would be very polite but showing no interest in each other. Tina could be her monosyllabic self, Bette could be more interested in talking to her mom or Helena.

      Love the let’s get naked in front of a roaring fire bit :-)

      I wonder how long it will take for Bette to tell Tina that she wants to stop the game with their moms, be officially together and introduce Tina to her parents. At least I hope she’ll talk to Tina instead of just assuming that Tina is only interested in a fling and in having fun with their mom’s meddling.

    5. I love the chemistry that Tibette has and that they can’t keep their hands off each other. I like this Bette who is romantic. Making love in front of a roaring fire must have made Tina fall in love with Bette even more. I am expecting Emma and Bette not to get along because Bette will be protective of Tina and will not let Emma put her down.

    7. So now Helena and James are going to join the games. Bette knows her friends. I expect that she will figure that this is another plot by Rosemary and Emma. She and Tina are on high alert and they will see it coming.
