Tina took a couple of deep breaths “ You are right – I am sorry – but “ she shook her head
“Its so fucking frustrating that Peggy is putting so many obstacles in front of them “
Bette kissed Tina on the lips
“If they are meant to be – they will find a way “
“You saw Helena when we were out with them last week – she is really upset about what Peggy is saying to her. There is no excuse for how Peggy is acting “
“I have tried to talk to her”
“And so have I – nicely. You know – its just not fair “
“I know – Tina – let it play out in whatever way that it is. I know that you and I both love them and we are on their side. You work for Peggy – you want her to make you an offer of a full time job – do not rock the good ship Peggy Peabody “

Bette was reminded of the conversation about Helena and Emma the next evening when they went to her parents apartment for supper. They regularly ate with her parents – it was becoming a regular part of their schedules. Both of her parents adored Tina and it was obvious that she loved being the part of the family Porter. It was also obvious that Rosemary Porter had stopped worrying all the time about impressing her daughter’s partner because she was serving her famous curry which was always made from leftover chicken and vegetables – that was a meal that Bette had never known her mother serve to anyone other than the Porter family. So when they arrived and the smell of curry was wafting through the apartment Bette grinned – Tina was now an adopted Porter.
They walked into the kitchen as Rosemary was checking on her homemade Nan breads from the oven
“They smell heavenly mom – sorry we are late – my fault – I couldn’t get a cab for us “
“hello girls – you have timed it perfectly. Your father is probably on his second beer by now if you want to go through “
“I thought we would stay here and help you “ Tina said eyeing the giant pan of curry
“And Ti loves curry “
“I did wonder if curry was okay for you dear “
“I love it – that smells heavenly “
“I will go and help dad with the beer – give me a call if you want a hand mom “
“Tina will help me thank you darling “
Bette winked at Tina and kissed her on the lips.

Another twist and turn… this story is so good. I wonder what the importance of this painting is to Peggy. And will it be just as important to Helena. Emma should as least get an explanation about the painting and how Peggy reacted when Bette show her the write up on it. What on earth does this all mean ?
I hope Tina keeps her cool with Peggy. She has to keep personal relationship separate from her professional life.. If Emma and Helena become something permanent, then it will be more important to keep personal relationship separate form her business life. .

Oh oh, this is not good. How on earth knew Emma about this painting that Bette was after for Peggy? And who is Denise Hammond? A art dealer that works for Emma?
And who is the enemy for life Bette is refering to, does she mean herself or Peggy? Emma just robbed Bette from good money by buying the painting behind her back. But i wonder, how did know Emma about this painting and did she knew about the sentimental value it had for Peggy or and Helena?
I hope to get the answers soon!
Tina should keep her private and working relationship with Peggy seperate. So far everyone told her to do that, but i can imagine it is hard to do that. Take their advice Tina.

How did Emma know about the painting???? Did Helena happen to mention the special yacht that she & her father shared, and that she knew of a painting of the same?? Did Peggy try to “one up” Emma by bragging that she was fixin’ to shower her daughter with something that even Emma could’t do for H???
Whats more, now both Bette AND Tina seem to thrust in the middle . . . of something that could really be like a grenade exploding!!!
