"Tee, baby you don’t have to clean anymore! You make it seem like I’m untidy!"
Bette had been trying all morning to get Tina to relax. They were expecting Kelly around two in the afternoon. Tina had been so anxious to meet Bette’s ex girlfriend.

Tina turned around from fluffing the sofa pillows.

"Tee, did you just really fluff that?" Bette laughed.

"Yes, I actually did. Thank you very much."

Tina realized how ridiculous it was and joined her into the laughter.

"Bette."

Tina placed both her hands on Bette’s face. The bump on Bette’s forehead was healing gorgeously and you could barely see the bruise.

Tina leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on the bruise that she had placed there when she launched the soccer ball. It was so Alice’s fault she kept thinking.

"I’m sorry; I just want to make everything perfect for Kelly. She seems to be a big part of your life and I just want to impress her."

Bette ran her hand down Tina’s shoulders and stopped when she felt Tina’s hip. She brought her in close and whispered into her ears.

"Tina you are perfect and you impress me and anyone who can’t see this is meaningless."

"Hmmm" Tina smiled into Bette’s curls. "You always know the right things to say.. I love you."

"And I love you."

Bette stood up from the side of the bed when she heard the door. Tina had beaten her to the door and was fixing her hair. Bette smiled, finding it cute how anxious Tina seemed.

"Holy fucking shit!"

Bette heard Tina shout. She quickly padded towards the front door, meeting both Tina and Kelly whose jaws were dropped staring at one another.

"Alice you’re going with us. Bette and Tina want all of us there."

Shane grabbed Alice by her sleeve and dragged her towards the home.

"Did you not hear Tina that day? I don’t know about you but she’s one scary lady when she’s mad." Alice dragged her feet.

"I don’t want to be anywhere near her when she’s like that. Bad vibes.. I get vibes." Alice twirled her hands in the air.
