It Takes a Village: Megan meets The Porter Sisters, Part 1
West Hollywood, California
Spaulding Square, Bette’s house
5:00 PM
Shane, Jenny, Helena, Kit, Alice, Shay and Angelica were all outside in the pool as Bette and Max walked out with turkey burgers to put on the grill. There was even a little baby sized burger for Angelica’s small hands. Max was known for being handy with the grill. In fact, Max was an experiment when it came to grilling the perfect burgers, hot dogs, and steaks.
"Thanks again for the help, Max." Bette thanked him as she sat the plate beside him.
"Oh, its no problem Bette." She touched his shoulder and gave it a loving little squeeze. Max was one of the latest additions to the family, and he couldn’t have been happier. He never felt accepted in his birth-family, so he really appreciated knowing hat she had somebody he could tell his problems to.
Bette pulled her sarong off, exposing her white bikini, and jumped into the pulled, splashing her family members in the process.
"Dammit, Bette! You almost took me out!" Alice screamed.
Bette snapped her finger, "Damn, I guess I was close but no cigar, huh?"
"You’re looking pretty buff there, baby sis." Kit noticed.
"Yeah, I’ve been hitting the gym lately. Get out frustration, ya know?"
I could get that frustration out for you. Shit, did I just think that? I hope It didn’t come out.
Helena looked shocked at her own inner thoughts. She had honestly been thinking about Bette a lot lately. It was mainly because Bette had been unusually nice to her lately. Bette would ask her to join her for coffee sometimes, or randomly ask her if she wanted to go to Milk with her. A lot of it had to do with the fact that Bette was an attractive woman. Everytime they’d go out to a bar or anyplace where women would be, every woman would pale in comparison to Bette. She knew that she could please Bette in every way she needed; she just needed Bette to give her that chance.

"And it shows." Helena said, giving her a confident smile.

I like the concept of Bette and Kit having another sibling, but dislike the thought of this being a Bette and Helena fic. Is it???????? :(
Kit really is very funny. Amazing family, I would’ve described them as. As well as intricate.
You’ve really nailed the Belena pairing, and I’m glad you’re sticking with them. It will be interesting to see how Megan adapts to life in WeHo.
ohhhhh baby!!! this is going to be good…you’ve got kit down and bette as an older sibling to a 17 year old…cannot wait to see where you take us!!!
I also like how you threw in the Belena pairing in there also with the new Porter sib coming along the way. I like the last sentence that Kit says. She’s telling the truth, but it’s also a supportive and loving family..But anyways, keep up the good work PPS and thanks for loving my stories too! lol
This should be fun with Bette and Kit having to deal with a 17 year old. I’m sure Megan is in for a good time with all the girls.
Hey ash I am so liking Bette and Helena, loved how H took the first step and kissed B and then at the end Bette telling Helena she wasnt going to be let out easy,,,lol,,wow that Megan when she starts something she goes for it, like her other two sisters…great chapter ash!!
very interesting. I like it! Even more better it’s a Belena! Love it! PPS!
WOw that went kinda smoothly for Megan, I was sure the sisters would make it difficult for her and wouldn’t accept her like that.
I’m not a huge Belena fan but I enjoy your writing that I’m intrigued by this pairing.
