    It’s the day of the party. Helena is speechless and Tina realises she was wrong

    Chapter 11: “It’s Party Time”

    Helena is waiting at the airport to pick Bette up. The chance encounter with Eric and Tina yesterday fuelled her plans to reunite Bette and Tina at her mother’s birthday party. She had a plan and she was going to put into action. She spots Bette coming out of the airport

    “Hey Porter” Bette looks up and smiles as she sees Helena waving to her. She walks up to her and gives a hug

    “It’s great to see you, you haven’t change” Helena smiles. Bette had changed dramatically since high school. She was more beautiful and more popular

    “You have” Bette shakes her head. She was so happy to see Helena “Just pop your bags in the back and hop in” Helena was driving a vintage MG sports car. It cost her about $100,000 in total to get it restored etc and it was well worth it. Bette gets in the car after Helena and they head off to Helena’s penthouse apartment above her gallery

    “Did Tina really look ok yesterday when she came with her father to your office” Helena smiles and nods. It was only natural for Bette to be worried

    “She looked at little spaced out but only because I think she was thinking about you” Bette shakes her head. She had forgotten how good Helena was at reading people “She had this warm smile on her face and I only ever see smiles like that when someone is thinking about the one they love” Helena was like Shane, wise beyond her years.

    “Do you honestly believe that” Helena quickly glances at Bette then back at the road. Bette was too stubborn for her own good and she always had been especially when it came to her own love life “Do you honestly believe she loves me” Helena shrugs her shoulders

    “Yes but you’ll have the chance to find out for yourself tonight at mummy’s birthday party” Bette was grateful to Peggy Peabody for saving her career at the CAC on countless occasions by coming up with the biggest names in the art world

    “You’re right as usual” they both chuckle “Where did you get your wisdom from” Helena smiles as they pull up outside the gallery. It wasn’t much bigger than the CAC and it attracted the some of the biggest names in the art world

    2. Bettes’ appearance will have Tina both speechless and breathless. Hope that Bettes’ entrance with Helena does not give Tina the wrong impression and ideas about her being in NYC with Helena. If not handled properly, Tina could think that Bette came to NYC to see Helena and not trying to find her and we sure don’t want that to happen. Thanks for posting.
