Chapter 5: “What Have You Done?”

It was two week after Bette and Tina’s encounter in Bette’s office and Bette was a little concerned as to why Tina had not called her or made any attempt to see her and why she wasn’t returning any of Bette’s calls.

“James I’m going to take an early lunch, if there are any phone calls take a message I’d rather not be disturbed” James nods. James was aware of Bette’s sexuality and it didn’t bother him but he didn’t know about the night Bette and Tina had sex in her office and why Bette was being so moody and blue. Bette left the gallery and went over to Alice’s place to see if Tina was at home.

“Bette what brings you here?” Alice was working at home for a change but there was no sign of Tina. It was obvious she was at the studio

“I was looking for Tina is she at work?” Alice nods “I see, can you tell her to call me I need to talk to her” Alice knew exactly why Tina hadn’t returned any of Bette’s calls; it was because of her and her big mouth. She had to go and ruin things before they had even started

“It’s my fault she hasn’t been returning your calls” Bette looks at Alice. This was going to be good, what had she done this time?

“What you talking about? What’ve you done?” Alice knew she was a dead woman by the way Bette was looking at her.

“I told her that you were the love’em and leave’em type” Alice had really put her foot in it. She could see Bette was absolutely furious with her “She must have thought she was just casual sex” Bette shakes her head, she was using all her self control not to punch Alice at that moment in time “I’m sorry” Bette couldn’t believe it, Alice had to go and fuck it up for her

“What the fuck are playing at Alice!!” Alice looks up and down the street before pulling Bette into the house

“I’m sorry ok” Bette paces up and down. She was absolutely furious with Alice. Tina wasn’t just some one time fling. There was something between them and Alice had to go and ruin it
