Chapter 7: “He wants her to go to New York”
Alice and Tina are sitting on the sofa with a bowl of popcorn watching an old horror movie. Alice has totally forgotten she has a date with Dana.
“Tina this is a really shit movie” Tina laughs. She couldn’t disagree it was really was a bad movie but it was funny and a good laugh is exactly what Tina needs. As they stop laugh Tina’s phone starts to vibrate in her phone. She sighs heavily before reaching in to her jeans pocket and taking out her mobile phone. Alice looks over to Tina and sees she has her mobile out “If that’s the studio tell them to fuck off” Tina was hoping it was Bette wanting her to go around to her so they could make up but she was going to be very disappointed
“Hello” Little did Tina know it was her father on the end of the line
“Hello pumpkin it’s your father” Tina’s eyes widen in shock. She was hoping he wasn’t calling for money and she wouldn’t be disappointed on that account. In fact her father was about to offer a way to help clear her head and get things sorted in her mind
“Daddy what’s up” Alice quickly turns her head away from the movie to Tina. The only time Tina ever heard from her father was if he was in trouble or he needed money. Alice could see Tina was disappointed by the identity of the caller
‘She must have been hoping it was Bette’ Alice sighs heavily, she was still wondering why she had ruined Bette and Tina’s relationship before it even started
“Well I have some potential benefactors here that are interested in pumping some private funding into the movie you’re making right now” Tina’s mouth falls to the mouth in shock. Money was badly needed right now to make Tina’s movie what it should be “They’ve read about it and they think it’s a great way of informing people that homosexuality is something that happens and that it isn’t wrong for people of the same sex to fall in love with one another” Tina couldn’t believe it. She was going to get the funding she wanted if she played her cards right

This is sad, poor B&T!
Bette will be devasted that Tina is gone. She will, of course, think the worse, which she shouldn’t. Since Alice started all this, she should now try to help and tell Bette that Tina’s father called for her to come to NYC. Maybe that will alleviate Bettes fears that Tina is running away. Thanks for posting.
Oh not a potential Helena in New York. GOD, that will hurt Bette too much. Please don’t keep them apart for too long. PPVS
Thank you very much for posting your first story : I always had such a weakness for Tibette’s beginning stories, so was delighted discovering your chapters. I like the way you at first made me feel worried with a too quick affair between my dearest two, then made me feel sorry for the huge step Tina took forward – well done ! Now my incurable romantic Tibetter’s heart will follow them through all the future chapters of your story… and it seems that it will be a pretty hard and bittersweet journey ! I’m ready, anaway ^_^
This is a great story. I wonder if Bette will follow Tina to New York. Am I seeing something extremely romantic on the horizon? Will Bette kill two birds with one stone – get the girl and meet the family? lol lol pps
Tina needs to call Bette and tell her about this trip to New York not Alice or Dana. Thank you PPS I so hope Tina does not meet Helena.
