Chapter 2: Will She Do It?

Tina went straight home from the gallery; her job had just been made a lot harder by her instant attraction to Bette. Tina knew Bette was right, she had to stop to be someone she wasn’t and be true to herself for once in her life

“Party get boring?” Tina shakes her head when she sees Eric lying on the couch with a bottle of beer

“No it was quite enjoyable but I felt tired” Tina goes into the bedroom to change into some casual clothing when Eric sneaks up behind her. He wraps his arms around her waist. She knew what he wanted and he wasn’t going to get it “Not tonight I’m tired and I’ve had a long day” Eric’s frustration was at its peak, he needed to get pleasure from his wife for the first time in weeks

“I need you baby” Tina sighs in frustration. She was tired and stressed. Sex with Eric was the last thing she needed

“Eric I said no, I’m really tired and I need to sleep” Eric spins Tina around and forcefully kisses her. She manages to push him away “Fuck Eric when I say no I mean no” Tina walks away from him and takes her duffle bag out of her closet. What he had just tried to do was the last straw

“Where are you going?” Tina throws some of her clothes into the bag including underwear and pyjamas before zipping it up

“I’m leaving Eric, I can’t stand being in this ‘marriage’ anymore” Tina walks past Eric but he grabs her arm hard “Let me go” Eric pushes her on to the bed making her drop the bag, he lies on top of her and goes for his buckle and zip on his trousers. Tina realises what he’s about to and knees him in his manhood. He rolls off the bed clutching it “You fucking bastard” Tina, who is clearly shaken, picks up her bag and leaves the apartment. The realisation of what had just occurred suddenly dawned on her. She began to cry. Tina threw her bag into her car and drove to the place she knew she’d be safe; Bette’s gallery, she was hoping Bette would still be there.
