As the sun rose in the east, another day in paradise began in the hotel room in Maui. Bette and Tina were still asleep as the warm morning sun peered through the curtain-framed windows of the master bedroom. Tina stirred slightly, turning over and reaching out for Bette in her sleep, just as she had done countless times over the course of the years. Her arm came to rest gently over Bettes mid-section as she snuggled in closer to the woman next to her. Feeling the touch of her lovers arm over her bare stomach, Bettes eyes fluttered open to greet the new day. Inhaling deeply, she stretched and reached above her head before turning and looking at the angel that was asleep beside her. Golden hair glowing in the morning light, framing Tinas beautiful face and a body seemingly sculpted to fit perfectly against her own, Bette took in the site before her, looked up to the heavens and said a silent Thank You as she had done every morning for years. For she really believed that the love that she and Tina shared was meant to be and that the fates above had seen to that, keeping them together throughout the good and the bad for the past 10 years.

Bette slowly reached out and lovingly began to stoke Tinas hair as she whispered, I love you into her wifes ear. As she continued to stroke Tinas golden locks, Tina began to wake.

As Tina lifted her head to get closer to Bette, Bette leaned in and placed a soft and very loving kiss on Tinas lips.

As Bette sat up in bed, Tinas ran her fingers over Bettes mocha skin, her touch lingering until she could reach out to Bette no longer. Bette got out of bed and grabbed her robe off of the loveseat in the corner of the room, winked at Tina, mouthing, I love you to her as she walked out of the bedroom door. She quickly wrapped the silk cloth around her body and headed toward the door. She took a quick glance back toward the bedroom, imagining who was inside and she quietly hoped that who ever was banging on the door could be gotten rid of so that she could get back into the bedroom and to her wife quickly.

Bette stepped up to the door, and peered through the peephole, and low and beholdthere on the other side of the door, standing in the hallway were Kit, Alice, Dana and Shane.

Hey Bette! Tina! Yah up yet?

BANG BANG BANG

Come on guyswe know youre in there! Come up for air will yah?! Yah two damn bunnies!
Yeah come on guys, we wanna go sight seeing!
Ooh ooh! We can go shopping!

Bette quickly pulled open the door and stared at her friends. An odd feeling of dj vu washed over her, as she was reminded of the night that she and Tina were doing the insemination and there was a ringing of the door bell, along with a few loud knocks, that preceded the opening of the front door to her waiting friends. Just as it had been all those years ago, with the exception of Kit, Alice and Shane waltzed right into the hotel room jabbering away while Dana hung just beyond the doorway, looking shy and awaiting approval to enter.

Come on sleepy head!
Yeah come on Porter! Its almost 9:30lets go! We got some last minute shopping and sight seeing to do before tomorrow.
Babe?! Who is it?
(shouting over her shoulder toward the room) Nothing to worry about T. Just the girls. (Turning back to the gang) Did any of you even think to set your watches to the local time?
Ummmmm.no why?
BECAUSE ITS NOT EVEN 6:30AM YET YAH IDIOTS!
Really? HuhI didnt realize that.
Yeah neither did I. Oh well we might as well get a head start on the rest of the people in paradise.
Breakfast. We can grab some breakfast. I saw a cute local girl setting up in the restaurant downstairs.
Geez Shane! Don t you ever stop?! You just had some private hula lessons of your own last night!
Why Dane? Life if just to damn short not to live it on the edge of reason. And besidesuntil the day that I find the person I want to be with until I sleep eternally underground, I wanna live it up. That way I will never be able to say that I never lived life to my fullest!

Alice just cocked her eyebrow at Dana, silently telling her to lay of off Shane. As she stared at Dana and Shane, Alice felt a swift slap on the back of her head.

She spun around to see a not so happy Bette Porter standing there, pointing at her bare wrist.

Time Al. What time is it again? Oh thats righttoo damn EARLY! Outcome on guys OUT! We will meet you down and in the lobby at 8am. You go eat breakfast, find a cutieWHATEVER! But this is too damn early in the morning!
All rightall right. Gawd Porteryou dont need to be such a grump. Were going, were going. Come on girls, lets before the horrible Porterasaurus gets even angrier!

Bette crossed her arms over her chest as she watched her friends file out of the room, one by one, all smiling shyly at Bette, trying to take the frown off of her face. Bette pointed towards the door, followed her friends, and loudly shut the door as the last of the girls walked out the door.

GRUMP!
BONEHEAD!

Alice and Bette engaged in some last minute name calling through the door before Alice grabbed the girls and dragged them to the elevator, and Bette pressed her forehead against the door and sighed. As she let out her breath, Tina quietly walked up behind her and wrapped her arms around the woman that she loved.

Everything okay?
Yeah. They forgot to change the time on their watches. I swear they would all lose their heads if it werent for the fact that we were born with them attached to our bodies
Baaabbbbeeeee. Its okayI told you, its just that their excited about being here and they are even more excited that we asked them to be apart of this special time for us.
I knowbut since they got here, I havent been able to make love to you.
I swear, hon, seems like thats all youve had your mind on during this trip.

As Tina spoke and kissed Bette, she led her back to the bedroom of the suite. She had over heard Bettes conversation with the girls, and given the timeline, she figured that if she was going to have breakfast, why not have it with the one you love and make it a breakfast to moan for.

Slowly, sensually the duo slipped out of their robes. Kissing, caressing, and touching each other in places that sent them both into the heavens of pleasure and ecstasy, and then back again. Each touch, each kiss, each movement was one of beauty, love and grace as they moved with the rhythm of the ocean, perfect and in time with each other, rocking each others world, much as the waves of the worlds oceans rock the shores.

Again and again they brought each other over the edge and back, until both could barely breath. Knowing that they needed to meet there friends, they begrudgingly stopped their love making, promising each other that after tomorrow they would pick right up where they had left off and then some. They showered and got ready quickly, making a dash to meet their friends on time, but to no avail, they were still late.

Did you forget to set your watch to the local time Porter?

Babe, shes just kidding. Come on, its a beautiful day, lets not spend it upset.

And just like that, Tina was able to calm her wife down with a beautiful smile and warm embrace. For as good friends as they all were, and even after all these years, Alice still had a knack for being the wiseass ***** that could make anyone a bit irked. Ignoring Alice the gang chatted a while deciding where to head for the day and what they should do.

After deciding, the gang piled into the cars and headed off for a fun filled day. They soaked up the sun, shopped and saw as many sights as they could, stopping only for lunch and for an early dinner. Aside from the shopping and sight seeing that they did as a group, Alice and Shane had decided to parasail for a bit and see Hawaii from the sky, while the rest of the gang took a glass bottom boat tour with a stop at a tropical fish and unique sea creature filled snorkel spot.

They were all wiped out from a sun and fun filled day in Hawaii, and were back at the hotel by 8:30pm. They all said their good nights and were in bed by 9:00pm. Their day tomorrow would start early, before the sun even came up, and given the specialness of tomorrow, they all wanted to be well rested for their journey to beat the sun to the mountaintops. With smiles on their faces, the gang drifted off to sleep, one by one, all with huge smiles on their faces as sweet thoughts of the upcoming romantic event for their friends filled their dreams. Across the hotel in their suite, the bodies of two beautiful women were laying in each others arms, fit together perfectly like pieces of a puzzle, Bette and Tina confessed their love for each other, kissed and drifted off into the shared dreamland filled with visions of their future.
