Tina stared out of the cottage window, looking dreamily at the Hawaiian night sky. There was something about staring at the stars that had always calmed Tina’s nerves and tonight was no different. All trip long, she had been struggling to find the courage, struggling to find the perfect moment to tell Bette what she was dying to keep inside. She wrapped her arms over her chest, inhaled the sea air deeply and sighed as her mind drifted off to a dreamland filled with visions of the future.
Bette was just finishing up in the shower, the hot water cascading down her body. Lowering her head under the falling beads of water, Bette closed her eyes and pictured the past days with her angel. She couldn’t ask for a better way to spend time with her wife and celebrate the past 10 years of their relationship. A slow smile crept across her face as she realized just how perfect her life was. Despite the ups and downs that they had faced, one thing remained the sametheir love was unfading and only grew in strength each day.
As Bette stepped out of the shower and toweled off, Tina made her way out of the cottage and sat on the porch swing outside. She was trying to envision the moment at which she would finally tell Bette what she had so desperately had been wanting too. She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she failed to see Bette look out of the screen door and smile. Tina always brought a smile to Bette’s lips, and quietly, so as not to disturb her wife, Bette crept outside and walked behind the swing.
Tina was mumbling something to herself, something that she often did when she was lost in thought, it was something that Bette loved about her. From their earliest days together, Bette thought that it was one of the cutest and most innocent things about her lover of 10 years. She slowly leaned in and gently kissed Tina’s ear before whispering, “Whatcha thinking about gorgeous?”
Startled, Tina sat up a little straighter. “Oh my gosh! Did she hear me?” A million thoughts ran through Tina’s head as she desperately hoped that Bette didn’t hear what she said. Regaining her composure, Tina turned to Bette and smiled.

Yesssssss she’s back…whooo hoo!!! Doing a happy dance…=P Loving this story…and am patiently waiting to find out what the secret is… hehehe..(you-know-who is brewing in the pen…he wants to go play with the others and go fishing but he can’t get out…hahahaha)
and another thing…I totally agree with the Nazi comment…being in the United States and all i swear we had something like a First Amendment right to free speech…we should be able to say whatever we want in our “AUTHOR’S NOTE” see its called authors note not “The note we are forced to edit in fear of being deleted..” LOL
