“What’s on your mind Kelly?” Matt asked his wife.
“What do you mean?”
“Well it’s pretty rare that we’re home together sharing a meal. It’s nice for a change but I sense a hidden purpose.”
“I want a divorce Matt.”
“Fine.”
“Fine … just fine? That’s all you have to say?”
“What more do you want me to say. Yes … Fine. I’ll give you what you want. It took you long enough to get around to it…”
“Wha…”
“Oh don’t look so incensed Kelly I’ve been expecting it for some time now.”
“You won’t fight me?”
“There’s nothing to fight for darling. In fact I’m a little tired of it all. I’ve been meaning to talk to you about it.”
“Talk to me about what?”
“About the fact that I find it rather immoral to be supporting my wife’s lesbian lover especially when said lover is seeing other women.”
“What are you talking about Matt?”
“I’m talking about you giving money to Jodi Lerner. I’ve gone along with the situation until now hoping you’d wake up to her … the sort of person she is … but I’ll be damned if I will continue to support you, your lover and her other women; or maybe she’s getting money from them too. That wouldn’t surprise me.”
“Matt what the hell makes you think Jodi is seeing other women?”
“Well maybe it’s just one woman, but even so…”
“Will you please tell me what you know?”
“I ran into Jodi a couple of evenings ago at the seafood restaurant on Pacific Coast Hwy. The one we went to with her and Tina before they left on the honeymoon. Remember it was one of Tina’s favorites? I was there with friends for dinner and I saw Jodi in the company of a strikingly beautiful young woman. The lighting was dim where they were seated but for a minute I thought it was Tina. I guess it was an eerie case of déjà vu on my part but she did remind me of her. It wasn’t so much her looks as it was her smile and mannerisms. Anyway Jodi introduced her. I believe Tabitha Wells was her name.”
“Tabitha Wells?”
“Yes do you know her?”
“No … I’ve only spoken to her on the phone once. She was recommended to me for an interior decorating job. I told her I wasn’t interested. Her home is in the same Malibu community as Jodi’s. They are neighbors. They must have met somehow and decided to have dinner together.”

Kelly appears to be at break point and unravelling. tina appears to be moulding her to slowly break away from Jodi. I can’t wait for the “Ah HA!” moment when Kelly finds strength thru tina to let Jodi know that the world does no longer alone, rise and shine on Jodi’s ass.. I think after too many unanswered calls or any call backs from Jodi, Kelly will realize it is time to step up and face up to the “accident”. my “ah ha” moment will be when tina confronts both Kelly and Jodi in person, and then “allows” joyce her moment of glory. it’s always a great thing to sit back and let joyce have her time and watch her get fired up. this is going to be so great!
thank you again for taking the time to share with us and also for allowing us to trek on this journey with you. and yes, I am still rooting for my #LOVINDAVE who will continue to be my own personal hero. as I have mentioned before, this tale is timeless and continues to be one of the many few reads that continues to capture and captivate in it’s own simplicity and beauty. you will continue to receive my applause and gratitude for allowing us to read through your eyes and the eyes of the many characters. bravura!!

gradually, this is the price for being disloyal to Tina.
