Chapter32 – Getting to know you better

One week later…

The next day, Isabel had gone to the CAC and she and Bette had talked. Bette managed to convince her to do as she said. She’d have to be the best friend she was supposed to be and help Marisol with whatever she needed, even if it meant giving her advise for her date with psychoFred. After their conversation, Isabel left and, hours later Bette went to her house to pack up some clothes as she waited for Alice. With Alice, they planned what they would say on the M&M day –Moving Marisol – With that, she made her way to Tina’s, who received with a very big kiss. What followed was, as usual, making love until their bodies were too tired to even move. They had slept in each other’s arms, as the other nights that would follow.

She and Tina had a sort of unspoken arrangement, on Mondays and Wednesdays, they would stay the night at Bette’s, as Bette would be too tired after her hot sweaty sexy love dance lesson; and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they would go to Tina’s.

During the next days, Bette had been surprised that Tina just called her to say hi and to check on her. Not even once she had tried to convince Bette to have lunch with her or to leave the CAC earlier. She found it odd, but didn’t say a word. The show was coming even closer and she had no time to spare.

After their lunch that monday, Tina had analyzed things with a third eye perspective and realized she had been very pushy about wanting to spend time with Bette, and Bette had always complied. And so she decided, at least until after the show, there would be no more pleading childlike voice, and no more sad puppy eyes or whatever tecnique she used to convince Bette to do whatever Tina fancied. If she wanted to see Bette, she would suck it up and stare at the photo on top of her desk and so be it. Bette also had a demanding job and couldn’t be running off everytime Tina wanted. And so, she decided they would make the most of every evening and of every morning –because she counted on spending the night with Bette- and that would be it.
