The week started and Carmen did what she was told. She went to classes with new outfits leaving everybody astonished. Now everybody noticed her and not in a “nerd” way but in a hot one, and Shane felt proud of her. Now everybody was seeing what she always saw… well not ALWAYS, but again, you get the point.

Every time Carmen entered to a classroom almost all men would turn around to see her and during lunch a few of them would go to her to ask her for her phone number or whatever. Carmen had the body of a deity and nobody missed that.

– What’s that?

– Nothing.

– Come on Carmen, let me see! Who is it?

– Is no one!

– Carmen… – Said Shane in a threatening voice

– Okay, is just a guy.

– A guy?  – Shane frowned surprised.

– I met him a few days before. We have English together.

Suddenly Shane’s face became cold, almost ice.

– What does he want? – She said while her eyes fell.

– He just asked me if I wanted to go to the movies with him tonight.

–  Oh… and… ..what did you say? – Panic running all over Shane’s face but well hiden.

– I don’t know… -Carmen said slowly. Something going on in her head. She then came back- I suposse you won the bet so it’s you who gets to decide what we do… I can go out with him another day.

– No, no, no. If you want to go then I think you should – Shane’s jaw clenched and her heartbeat was hammering into her ears. Outisde everything seemed normal while she was burning inside.

– He will pick me up tonight at 6… and… uhm… I was wondering if… you know…

Shane was a wreck by now and couldn’t stand any rambling, reason why she snapped way more than intended.

– What Carmen!? What?

– ohm.. nothing. Nothing.

She then realise the consecuences of how she reacted and felt inmediatly bad. She didn’t know what was happening inside her nor how to control it, but she definitely didn’t like it.
