Lesbiannicus: Chapter 10 – Balance the Scale

“You foolishness child your failure to see pass your arrogance led you to attack a city that stands under the watchful eye of the goddess of the sea.”

    “Yes, a victory well deserved!”

“It is a victory that will claim the lives of us all!”

“Queen Avile is no longer a threat.”

“She may not be but the sea goddess is! The bulk of food that nourishes us all hails from the waters below; you destroyed her queen, her people, and home how do think she will return favor?” Hearing her mothers words, although she failed to acknowledge the truth in the matter to which she spoke her mother was correct. She could command soldiers to return to Cordelia to retrieve from the waters what was needed, however she knew the task would prove worthless. Only a citizen of Cordelia could manage and tame the sea and since she either had them killed or forced into slavery she knew her request would fall on deaf ears. Jennicus silence conveyed to her mother she had spoken truths. A truth that never crossed her mind when deciding Cordelia was the next city to conquer. If she failed to attend to the matter they would all eventually succumb to hunger including herself. Rather admit her mother was right Jennicus staying true to form vowed never to admit any wrong doings before her mother.

    “I have matters under control.”

“Do you now, “her mother replies in a condescending tone. Jennicus had enough of her mothers defile nature and if she couldn’t convince her of her power through her words she would through her actions. Raising her left hand high in the air then lowering it she gave signal to start the games. As the steel gates raised six of her strongest fighters entered into the arena to the veracious roars of the crowd. Lifting their swords, shields, and other weapons of choice in the air they too basked in the praises in an early celebratory victory. The steel gates on the adjacent side of the arena raised revealing Jennicus opponents. Slowly, making their way into the arena were the slaves and prisoners she held confined. Once it was revealed how their lives would be stilled many tried to escape but were quickly apprehended by the guards and forced into the arena. When the last prisoner foot set upon the arena sand the gates closed firmly behind them. With no weapons they huddled together in fear giving their best effort in preparing for what was to come. Seeing the prisoners the crowd booed shouting obscenities wishing death upon them all. Immediately recognizing most by the blue colors they wore Jennicus mother rises to her feet praying what stood in the arena was an illusion.

Dana fight for his love for Lara.
And Bette and Gaya have to unite to fight a real war, not fight
